No. While it does act as a vacuum for water, you would get a giant mess if using as a regular vacuum without the water running through it. Do not recommend at all. Sorry, there was a problem.

ANSWER : The Pumps on these go bad after a couple of months. They rust and will .sometimes spray and other times not then eventually not work at all. If .your a handy man pull the top off it and remove the pump motor and .replace it yourself. The part number is 603-5029 you can put this number. in google shipping and get it to your door for about $15 and replace it. yourself or have a friend do it. Ebay has tons of them once again just .put in the part number and a list of them will come up.

My Bissell ProHeat steam cleaner won’t spray water. The accessory
ANSWER : Under the plastic under the water tank (its a pain to pull apart to get to it) there is a solenoid that actuates the water between the floor and the tools. This is toast if its not spraying the floor, its simply not reacting to the signal to let it go through to the water side. .
.Seems to be a common problem with the Bissell Proheats. You can order a new one online for about $12 and try to get to it to replace it yourself (if you can open up the base its obvious which part it is if you just follow the hoses).

ANSWER : Thanks to many others who have posted on similar problems — water.and/or solution sprays through the handheld tools, but not through the.main machine.
As others have suggested, I removed the water.reservoir, which exposes the 2 main water sprays mounted above the.rollers. Using, pliers, I carefully slid the clips back. Gently but.firmly removed the two red nozzles.
Elsewhere I have read.suggestions to just do one nozzle at a time. However, I found out that.if you remove both red nozzles, you can then blow through one side and.it will come out the other. In my case, that dislodged a nice.collection of crystal-like chunks (guessing it may be crystallized.residue from the cleaning solution).
There was also a bit of.blockage in one of the red nozzles, which I cleaned out. Make sure you.can blow through both of them with little resistance.
Reassemble:.Push red nozzles back into hoses. Using pliers, reposition sprung clip.back over the red nozzle. Snap nozzles back into place. Refill tanks.and power it up.
In my case, that resolved the problem of no sprays from the main machine. Sprays like new now. Hope yours does too!!
p.s. Make sure you do give it about a minute after you turn it on before you try spraying. If the pump is not allowed sufficient time to prime, you may not get proper flow.

Bissell 1425 Little Green ProHeat Steam Cleaner – had a problem with leaking. I got replacement parts, installed in the water / soap tank, now it won’t spray out any water or soap.

.Sounds like the connection to the pump has come loose.
The tool attachment for the hose on my Bissell ProHeat 2X CleanShot won’t spray soap or water. The bristles on the tool rotate without a problem and the suction is working fine, it just won’t spray water when I pull the little gray trigger on the tool.
My Bissell ProHeat Pro-Clean upright cleaner won’t spray either water or solution onto the floor, however it does spray when using the attachments on the hose. The belt is fine, I’ve actually tried all of the troubleshooting steps indicated in the User Manual. I’m not even certain where it is supposed to be spraying out from! Any ideas where/what to check for?
