You may have stalled the brush motor. To reset, turn off and unplug, then plug back in and turn on. The brush roll may have lodged debris or other entanglements keeping the brush from rotating.
Make sure the Clean Water Tank is seated correctly on the machine. If it isn`t, turn off and unplug your machine, remove and reseat the tank until it clicks into place. This is also a good time to check for cracks or leaks in the tank. If it`s damaged, a replacement can be ordered on BISSELL.com.
Check both the brush roll and chamber for any large debris that may clog or stop the brush from spinning. If it is damaged or broken, you can buy a replacement on bissell.com. Replace your brush roll by re-inserting. Using the coin again, turn the groove counterclockwise to lock the brush in place.

I have the Bissell Proheat (7901) It will pick up water and the hand tool works fine. I noticed that the red indicator stopped spinning. Then I noticed no water was coming out. If I put down water using the hand tool, the vacunme will pick it up. When I called Bissell they had me do something with the indicator. When it didn’t work they said take it in for repair.
The tool attachment for the hose on my Bissell ProHeat 2X CleanShot won’t spray soap or water. The bristles on the tool rotate without a problem and the suction is working fine, it just won’t spray water when I pull the little gray trigger on the tool.
My bissell proheat 2x carpet cleaner is not spraying from the bottom or sucking up when turned on. The hand tool works just fine. I have a Bissel 9300-C 0714 BC Carpet Shampooer. It was working great and all of a sudden it stopped working. It still sucks up dirty water but it does not spray water onto the carpet. I can get it to spray water through the smallest hand attatchment but not through the large hand held piece on the base of the machine. ANSWER : The spray jet has become clogged from the soap…. just clean it out. same thing happened to my attachment.
I have a Bissell 9500 proheat 2X cleanshot w/dry Aire it works great on cleaning carpets. When I try to use the tools it will spray but will not suction. How can I get the suction to work when using the tools?

I have a Bissell Proheat Turbo 2x model 9300. It has stopped spraying at the floor. The hand tools will work so I assume this means the problem is at the base somewhere. I cleaned the nozzles but don’t know what to try next. It has always had a problem with dumping too much cleaning solution as well, don’t know if this is a contributing factor
