They think that a piece from the base of the cleaner, where the water tank sits on it, broke off. When I try and fill the water tank, the water runs through, and I think it’s because I don’t have a complete valve. Only the large black ring is on the water tank. On the base unit, there was black piece with a red rubber stopper/valve on it. The red rubber part was face down. It would help if I had a picture of the bottom of the water tank, and a picture of the base, so I can figure out how to assemble what parts I have, and figure out if I need to order a different part-I ordered a water valve, and it is the same as the parts are already on my cleaner.\015

Hi I own a Bissell Proheat Powersteamer pro-tech with a turbobrush. I have been using “bissell multi-allergen removal formula for carpets and upholstery.” I ran out of that last night. Today I went to walmart looking for more. Everything I found said “2x Ultra Concentrated Bissell multi-allergen.” I’m confused on where to add the cleaner. I have a water tank and a separate soap tank. The instructions on this new cleaner bottle say to add 4 capfuls for the formula tank and dilute with hot tap wat
I have a Bissell Proheat 2XTurbo carpet cleaner. No water will come out when I squeeze the trigger. I have filled the solution tank and the water tank. I read the troubleshooting in the manual and have tried turning it off for a minute and restarting and nothing. I took out both tanks and reseated them and nothing. It has sat for over a year but did not have any water in the water tank. Some solution was left in the solution tank. How can I make the water come out? HELP!

We have a Bissell Proheat Cleanshot 2X Model 9500 Steam carpet cleaner. The first time we used it things were great. The second time we used it it left tracks in the carpet. We have no idea what caused this. We tried using the machine on an entirely different carpet and it did the same thing. After vacuuming the carpet about 10 or 12 times, the tracks are still embedded in the carpet – HELP!!!! We’re read and reread the manual and contacted customer service and received no help.
ANSWER : First things first. It’s only the second time you have used the machine, so it must be fairly new. If you have a receipt and the unit is less than a year old you should take it to an authorized Bissell repair center and have the machine inspected under warranty.

.Otherwise, The jets on this unit clog easily, there are two of them and you can locate them under the recovery tank towards the front of the machine, and blow them out with an air compressor. To prevent the jets from clogging in the future make sure to flush all shampoo out of the machine with clean water when done using it. That is most likely your problem.

.If it is leaving black streaks on your carpet it could be coming from a burnt belt or melted brushroller part, in which case inspect the belts and brushrollers and replace the damaged pieces.

My carpet cleaner (bissell proheat plus) is not steaming, dispensing cleaner. Seems like there’s a little thingy that should be spinning or turning….. When I work a small area of carpet, it just leaves behind dry blobs of carpet gunk like pet hair. I had to use a carpet sweeper to clean up. FYI – I filled the cleaning fluid container and after trying to clean the carpet, it did empty out but the carpet isn’t wet. Any tips? The manual doesn’t help.

I have a lawn sprinkler system that has a main inlet valve that opens when the sprinkler is run. This inlet valve failed after a recent long freeze when water retained in the valve became ice and then expanded. Questions:
1. Can I replace just the plastic parts that broke or do I have to replace the total valve? The valve is made by FEBCO,CA and the following is written on the valve: 4010387; 765-PUB; B 6412 and 150 MWWP.

ANSWER : Yes you can, take the piece into home depot they can help with it. usually you can replace the total valve as awhole , its easier to do it this way, and still cost effective 🙂
