Bissell ProHeat Turbo Deep Cleaner Upright Steam Vacuum\015 My Bissell 9300 steam cleaner is not putting out soap. When you turn the cleaner on and have it on rinse it puts out water, but when you turn the selector knob to light, normal, or heavy clean the water shuts off and no soap comes out, then if you turn the selector back to rinse there is still no water that comes out. But if you shut the machine off and turn it back on the water will come out again.\015

First, check to make sure the clean tank has water and/or the water & formula mixture in the tank. If your tank is empty, this could be the reason your machine is not spraying. You will need to fill your clean tank again. Reseat the tank and ensure it sits snug on the machine.
There could be several factors as to why your BISSELL PowerFresh steam mop is not producing steam. First, check to make sure the unit is plugged in and is in a working outlet. Next, check to make sure there is water in the tank. It is very important to make sure you are ONLY using water to fill the tank.
Check the suction inlet on the body of the vacuum and clear it of debris if needed. Remove the hose from the base of the machine and remove any debris as needed. If necessary, you may use a broom handle to unclog the hose by pushing through both openings.
Check for a plugged hose
Plugged vacuum hoses are sometimes the reason for a loss in suction. Hoses can get clogged with hair, dust bunnies, string, or anything else that can`t pass through the other end of the hose. Airways inside the machine should be looked at as well. Wherever there is an air passage, check it.
If the product is not making steam please check that there is water in the tank fitted at the top. If the product is not making steam please check that there is water in the tank fitted at the top. Pull the tank up and fill it up with water. Please do not add any cleaning solutions to the water in the tank.
Naturally, all carpet cleaners will leave some moisture, which will dry out in the hours following the cleaning process. However, if the carpet remains wet long after cleaning, it`s because the final step of that process was insufficient.
Check to see if your clean water tank is empty. The clean water tank also may not be seated properly. The brush window could also not be latched into place. Turn off your machine and check to see if the brush window is secure.

Hi I own a Bissell Proheat Powersteamer pro-tech with a turbobrush. I have been using “bissell multi-allergen removal formula for carpets and upholstery.” I ran out of that last night. Today I went to walmart looking for more. Everything I found said “2x Ultra Concentrated Bissell multi-allergen.” I’m confused on where to add the cleaner. I have a water tank and a separate soap tank. The instructions on this new cleaner bottle say to add 4 capfuls for the formula tank and dilute with hot tap wat
The belt on my vacuum cleaner model 6596 bissel powerforce bagless turbo keeps breaking. As soon as I put on a new belt and start it up the belt snaps. It is the durabelt meant for this vacuum model. Also, my son has been having the same problem with his. He has the same model and same belt. This problem is occurring even after a thourough cleaning.
I would guess you aren’t centering the belt correctly, thus it’s edge is caught between the brush and another solid object, causing the breakage.
.When you get the belt on the the brush and the brush back in place, turn the brush a few times by hand to make sure it’s not catching on anything. After you get the powerhead put back together, do this again. It’s a common problem if the powerhead isn’t assembled correctly.
.Here’s a video clip from the Bissell site demonstrating changing the belt.
No steam My SV1000 steam cleaner will not make steam. It heats up, but I think the small portholes where the steam comes out are clogged up. Are parts available to change the steam line?
I used the straw to prime the lines and 50/50 mix of vinager and water and it worked perfectly. I then mixed the water container with the same mix and ran it through the system. All works fine now.

I can’t get my shark steam blaster model EP95 to create steam?
Pull the (3) coasters/feet out and unscrew the 3 screws. take off the one end of the steam”boiler” (two clamps). tilt open end up and pour white vinegar [carefully] in there, prop up so it does not fall over, and soak overnight. dump out lime and water scale and rinse out a couple of times. Be very careful to not get water on electrical parts.
Take an air pig and blow out the line (Black) from where you disattached it to where the steam comes out [at the handle]. Be sure to mark electrical connections [4 on one, 2 on the other] so you don’t blow a breaker switch like I did.
