I am looking for a wiring diagram to install a touch/dimmer switch by “Comfort” mdl # RH-934B – Darjung Ind Ltd.
It has a standard lampcord (two wires) coming from it as well as one white, one black and one yellow wire.
The original touch/dimmer switch (no identification on it) had one white, one black, one red and one yellow – no lampcord.
Thank you very much for your help!

.Low suction, poor pickup, or no suction may be due to a clog in the vacuum cleaner. If you notice a change in the sound of the motor or a reduction in the spinning action in the Dirt Container, check for clogs. Unplug cleaner from electrical outlet. Empty Dirt Container. Check Upper Tank and Louvers for build up or clogs. Check to make sure Louvers are installed correctly. To unlock the Louvers, grasp the rim and turn toward the left. Pull straight down to remove. If the Louvers are missing or not locked into place, check and clear the tube in the center of the Dirt Container. Remove the Twist ‘n Snap Hose from the vacuum by turning to the left. Check the Suction Inlet, Hose and Hose Wand for clogs. Remove any clogs from the hose using a long, narrow object. Check the Foot Hose for clogs. If needed, remove the screw attaching the Hose Wand Base to the vacuum. Straighten the Foot Hose and unclog with a long, narrow object. If the clog persists, then check the Rotating Floor Brush the Air Passageway for obstructions.

It has wiring inside to control the vac and power head. This is a swivel handled hose with both low and high voltage contacts in it. The same wiring which gives the hose its ribbing, is conducting current for two applications,
If your hose has a switched handle, a very experienced, trained AERUS Electrolux tech will a have a tough time doing this job and will likely refuse as it is not recommended per company policy.
You can purchase a shrink wrap tube which will prolong the life of the hose if it has not collapsed, however this is a short term fix.
I could walk you through this as I have done it before …Unfortunately, even if you were able to dismantle the hose successfully you would not be able to purchase the wire terminals which you would cut off the end when shortening . Sorry its a proprietary part.

.It’s not glued, but it can be a little difficult to remove. You need to twist and pull at the same time and it should pull off. If it’s being stubborn, squirt a little bit of WD40 / penetrating fluid where the hose meets the tube on the sole plate, leave it for a couple of minutes and try again. This will also help you to attach the new one more easily. Wipe up any excess fluid after fitting the new hose.

.There isn’t really much more I can tell you. There are numerous videos on YouTube covering Dyson maintenance. The following is actually for a clutch change but it’s one of the easiest to follow and covers removal of the short hose:
