To open the bag, you simply pull the zip apart. You don`t let the air in via the valve. All vacuum storage bags will leak in air over time – Neusu vacuum bags have been tested to keep out most of the air, with only minimal leakage, after over four months.
Turn the suction unit “off” and allow vacuum to drop. Disconnect the suction unit from its power source. Disconnect the tubing from the canister and remove from holder. Carefully remove lid and empty contents.

I can’t get the vacuum to **** and can’t get to the point of the clog. The pieces don’t come off. Also need to know how to get the filter piece off the machine.
I have a window fan with two fans in it & I cannot get the cover or back off so I can clean it. I* have taken all the screws out that I can get to , but there are two clamps that I can’t get off, I’m not sure why the clamps are there but they are on the side with the accordian extention. Please tell me how to get it apart – after 2 years it is really filthy!!

ANSWER : Remove all the screws, pry clips off that hold on the extensions, than fan will pull apart. The clips must be pried off. They will not break. Then remove screws holding in the fans and remove them as well. Fairly simple process.
I have a Dyson DC-17 and the top of the cyclone has hair and other debris jammed in the ports. It has 6 six screws holding the parts together and I can only get access to 4 of the screws. The bottom piece appears to be removable, but I can’t figure out how to remove it without damaging it. If I can get this piece off, then I have access to the other 2 screws. Can you tell me how to remove the bottom piece? Thanks in advance.
ANSWER : The instructions on how to dis-assemble your DC-17 are somewhat lengthy and it is quite helpful to have pictures and videos handy while you are doing it. I have an old upright hoover vacuum. I need to change the belt but can’t figure out how to get to it. The bottom plate over the roller brush comes off but I can’t get anything else off to get to the other end of the belt.
The belt wont turn…i cant get in to the inside to check to see if the belt isnt on the roller…how do i get up in there..i took the bottom plate off and you still cant get inside…

Suction problem I have a Hoover Widepath Fold Away, 12 amp motor vacuum cleaner and the problem I am having is every time I vacuum, the vacuum gets clogged up with carpet. Getting part My repair shop cannot get the part for my filter queen. It’s the plug in the body of the machine that the short plug goes in from the hose. It’s been bent. Can I get a replacement part?

Agitator belt failed in my Hoover F5853-900 Steam Vacuum Cleaner. But can not remove bottom Cover .. have removed top cover and two screws from the bottom Cover. The smaller Cover is glued to the large Bottom Cover. Need help.
ANSWER : Hello,
Unscrew the plate. check if there is any screws at the bottom, if none, exact little pressure to pull out the bottom cover. At this .point you should be able to see the broken drive belt along with the two. drive bars. Remove any debris from the vacuum head. Untangle any long threads .wrapped around the beater bar. These only put more strain on a drive .belt, so keep this area of your vacuum clean..Slip the new drive belt on the beater bar. Connect it with the drive .shaft. You may need to use the screwdriver to stretch the belt enough to. get it over the two shafts.
Make sure the beater bar turns freely with the new drive belt attached. Put the plate back over the beater bars.
