Open the bag door and the model number should be etched into the back side of the door. Or on newer models the model number may be on the belly of the canister on a silver sticker.
How To Reset The Water Filter Indicator On a Electrolux Fridge. To reset CHANGE FILTER light: Press and hold the LIGHT and LOCK pads until the CHANGE FILTER light blinks (approx. 3 seconds). The control is now reset for 12 months or another 416 gallons.
Founded in Sweden in 1919 by entrepreneur Axel Wenner-Gren, Electrolux has shaped living for the better for 100 years by reinventing what great taste, care and wellbeing experiences for our consumers. This is our story.
Aerus is the successor to Electrolux USA, the iconic manufacturer of vacuum cleaners.
Wash your HEPA filter with warm water and allow it to dry if your model specifically states that water cleaning is safe. You can also soak your filter in hot water if it is extremely dirty. Clean non-washable, permanent HEPA filters using a vacuum to remove dust and debris.
When you use a vacuum cleaner without a HEPA filter, these particles are stirred up and put back out into the air through your vacuum`s exhaust. Regular filters can`t remove these harmful particulates and this puts the people in your home at risk.
HEPA filters are not designed to be washed and reused. Doing so will cause damage to the fibers which makes the filter ineffective and it will become void of its job. Once a filter has reached the maximum capacity of harmful particles, it will need to be replaced with a fresh, new one.
Where are Electrolux products made? Today, Electrolux manufactures its appliances out of factories in Sweden, Mexico, U.S.A., Turkey, China, Ukraine, Poland, and Germany.
Professional test companies regularly rank Electrolux as a top brand for laundry care; that is, they consider it the brand with the best cleaning ability with a gentle-on-clothes wash cycle. You can get a stackable washer and dryer from Samsung or Electrolux.
It`s important to note that not all Electrolux products sold in the USA are made in the USA. Some of their products may be manufactured in other countries, such as Mexico or China. To determine if a specific Electrolux product is made in the USA, you need to check the label or contact the manufacturer directly.
Electrolux brand appliances have been making housework easier for more than a century. Established in Sweden, the Electrolux company currently owns Frigidaire, Tappan, Kelvinator and Gibson appliance brands.
You can rinse the filter in water, tap excess dust off of it or remove some dust with a vacuum, but this can definitely damage the mesh of fibers that allows the filter to remove particles from the air. Even if the filter looks undamaged, some of the fibers will be broken or stretched out.
How do I know if my HEPA filter is dirty? Open up the air purifier and remove the pre-filter. Your HEPA filter will have heavy clumps of dirt and dust and it`ll look black if it`s dirty. That`s an indication that your filter needs cleaning or replacement.
The filter selectively transmits the red and blue portions of the incident white light spectrum, but absorbs most of the green wavelengths. As discussed in our section on primary colors, the color magenta is obtained by subtracting green from white light.
Filter lights indicate that you have priority in the direction shown by the arrow (see image right, which indicates a right filter lane). They may be timed to control traffic congestion at busy times. The arrow may indicate a priority to the left, right, or ahead.
For example, when white light passes through a pure red filter all of the other colours in the spectrum are absorbed and only red light passes through it. So only a very narrow band of frequencies get through. The transmitted light is red in colour and less bright, as the other colours are absorbed by the filter.
Window room air conditioners with a Reset Filter pad have an LED indicator light. The LED light will turn on when the fan has accumulated 250 hours of run time. This is to provide a reminder to clean the air filter.
If your car filters are not replaced in time, they won`t work properly and in the end, it could cause an impact on the mechanics. By replacing your filters, your car will be more efficient.
It is an acronym for “high efficiency particulate air [filter]” (as officially defined by the U.S. Dept. of Energy). This type of air filter can theoretically remove at least 99.97% of dust, pollen, mold, bacteria, and any airborne particles with a size of 0.3 microns (µm).
Although it depends on the specific filter you have, as a rule of thumb, replaceable HEPA filters should be replaced every 6-12 months, depending on air quality and environmental factors.
Yes, you should run your air purifier 24/7 and you shouldn`t turn it off anytime. In fact it`s recommended to not switch off your air purifier at any time of the day or night, even when you`re sleeping or not at home.
If your filter is not changed in time, it will be clogged with micro-organisms like bacteria, viruses, and mold particles. It won`t be able to clean new ones and only capture them on the filter`s surface.
HEPA filters are limited to particulates. There are harmful gases and fumes that may just pass through a HEPA filter. HEPA filters may cause air to become too dry. Finally, some HEPA filters may produce ozone, which is an unhealthy gas that can irritate the lungs.

Electrolux Epic 6500SR Full Bag sensor working, Does not Reset properly
ANSWER : The problem was a sticking switch that was not being reset. The vacuum on/off switch mechanism is comprised of two switches. One is the main switch that turns the vacuum on and off. The second is a shut off switch that gets tripped when the full bag sensor is engaged. This second switch is supposed to get reset when you push the on/off switch on the outside of the machine. The full bag shutoff switch was stiff and it, therefore, was taking a couple of presses of the on/off switch to move the shutoff switch back into the running position.

I have a Roomba 560 (it’s still in warranty !!) and, after my summer vacation, it has a problem.
When I’m charging Roomba, the orange light blinks (and this is normal!) but this orange blinking continues forever…. the light doesn’t change to green.
If I detach Roomba from the charger, the light become green and it works normally until the light changes to red and I have to charge it again.

WHY, DURING THE CHARGING PHASE, THE LIGHT DOESN’T CHANGE FROM ORANGE-BLINKING TO GREEN?

HAVE I

ANSWER : The problem is not with the charger itself but it is with the battery inside the Roomba. It sunds like one or more of the cells has gone bad so its not holding the same charge as it did. I would recomend sending it in while the warranty is still valid so they will replace it. Your charger and the Roomba itself should be fine.

A few tips to keep the battery working longer:
Only charge the battery when it is drained all the way to zero. It will help keep the battery active.

Only charge the battery until it is full and then disconect it from the power source. It will keep it active longer plus it will help keep your electric bill down.

Won’t start. My son was using the vacuum & Didn’t change the bag. The vacuum was making the full bag smell, but the light was’t on & it didn’t stop. I stopped him, changed the bag, checked the filter, closed the compartments & turned on the vacuum. Nothing happened. I checked to be sure that it was plugged in, that wasn’t the problem. I’ve let the vacuum “rest” for several days, It still won’t start. Any suggestions?
ANSWER : There is a reset button at the back of the powerhead. The user manual can be downloaded from the electrolux website, although I didn’t find it very useful. There was some info on how to change the powerhead drive belt.

ANSWER : Try replacing the belt. Rubber belts stretch out after about a year.

I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don’t know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? The vacuum does not appear to be damage
ANSWER : If the motor is running, there should be suction. Possible problems depend on whether it’s a canister or upright and are:
.A clog in the hose, UR or canister. Detach hose. Drop small coin in one end and lift hose causing it to roll out the other. If it does, no clog in hose. Drop same coin into hose opening on power head. If it rolls out, no clog in PN.
.Broken fan blades, UR. Needs to be taken to shop for repair/replacement.
.
.A reset button is for use if the motor isn’t running, so won’t have anything to do with the suction.

My electrolux oxygen cannister has the “bag change” light on when there is a new bag. The light stays on when the suction power is high (to pick up small particles) and it won’t pick up, but the ight goes off when the suction power is low (to pick up big objects). I changed the hepa filter, cleaned the motor filter and changed bags, but all that didn’t help.
ANSWER : You may have a clog in the hose, and/or the inlet by the brush roll. A clog will turn on that light as well as a full bag.

I have a light ballast that stopped working. The lights around this one bulb still work but changing the light bulb did not fix the problem. Any idea what is going on here?
ANSWER : The ballast is like a fuse and the ballast is blown .
.you will need to replace the ballast as it will let current thru for some bulbs but not enough to light them all up.
.also if you use old bulbs that are alomst blown and new ones it puts ware on the ballast and it wont last as long.
.if you do not know how to change the ballast you should get an electrician in to do it for you. he could also look for other problems and better detect the issue you are having.
.however i find that replacing the ballast is usulally the easiest fix.
