Repair Service
Dyson will repair your machine in accordance with Dyson service and warranty terms and conditions. If your machine is under warranty, Dyson will perform repairs under the terms of such warranty, provided you have presented satisfactory proof of the machine`s eligibility for repairs.
Engine loses power or won`t start
If the pressure is too high, it can cause a head gasket to be pushed out, can cause cylinder head hardware to break or in some cases, will cause detonation inside the engine.

Remove the filter by lifting it out and separates the two parts which can be washed in warm soapy water and rinsed thoroughly. Filters should not be put back into the vacuum until they are completely dry.
Wash filters in cold water only (don`t use detergent or wash in a dishwasher or washing machine). Rinsing under the water supply then gently squeezing the water out of the filter. Repeat until the water runs clear.
Most Dyson filters are found near the cyclone. You can safely lift and remove the filter out for cleaning. They are typically colored purple so they can be spotted easily. Be aware that some Dyson upright vacuums will contain more than one filter.
The cleaner head housing is not washable and should only be wiped over with a damp lint-free cloth. To maintain optimum performance, check and wash your brush bar regularly. Make sure your machine is disconnected from the charger and take care not to touch the trigger.
