Locate the u-bend cover, press the yellow release button, and look for any possible blockages. These blockages may be preventing the machine from locking in its upright position as well as reclining when already locked.

Make sure it`s free of dirt or hair and opens and closes freely. You can also check the attachments, motorhead, and flapper on the dust cup for possible obstructions that would cause your vacuum to pulse on and off.

My dyson seems to have lost its suction therefore is not picking up anything yet i have found that when my dyson is standing upright it has a little more suction but nothing like how it use to work. ANSWER : I called Dyson because I had a similar problem. When I pushed the red button down on my dc25, but it would not stay down. The vacuum would turn on when the button was pushed down, but of course when I let go of it the vacuum would shut off. The helpful telephone tech. Recognized the symptom right away and told me to push down on the button fully and let It flick up like a lighter. I about fell off my chair when that worked right away! Anyways for what it’s worth, she said sometimes the mechanism in the buttons gets consnarlitated (my tern, not hers!) and this resets the spring.

I have a new Euro-Pro shark model S3101. Used it one time and while I was doing my tile floor in my kitchen I reached under a cabnet to clean and hit the floor kick kind of hard and broke the head off of the shark. I have only the T shaped end on the shark now with the cleaning head broken off and looks unrepairable. I did kind of hit the floor kick hard but the plastic broke like glass. Can I put a new head on the remaining piece or is it repairable?
