Our machines are engineered with six layers of advanced whole machine filtration, which means that we capture 99.97% of microns as small as 0.3 microns. Our fully sealed system keeps dust in the machine, drawing the airflow through all six layers of filtration, expelling cleaner air into your home.

Retailing for $279, the Dyson DC33 Multifloor bagless upright vacuum(opens in a new tab) uses Root Cyclone technology to clean just about any mess on all types of floors, including hardwood, carpets, vinyl, tile, and more.
The Dyson DC33 Multi Floor vacuum cleaner is a lightweight, easytocarry, powerful bagless upright vacuum for every floor type. It weighs just 17.6 pounds with no compromise in durability.
The biggest difference between the two is how long it runs. While the V8 cleans as well as the V10, it won`t run as long. Go with the Dyson V10 if your home is bigger. Otherwise, go with the V8.
Dyson Hyperdymium™ motors work very differently to conventional brushed motors. We replaced the brush with digital pulse technology, added neodymium magnets and built a ceramic shaft that`s three times stronger than steel. This makes our motors durable and powerful, yet smaller, lighter and cleaner than ever before.

I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don’t know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? The vacuum does not appear to be damage
ANSWER : If the motor is running, there should be suction. Possible problems depend on whether it’s a canister or upright and are:
.A clog in the hose, UR or canister. Detach hose. Drop small coin in one end and lift hose causing it to roll out the other. If it does, no clog in hose. Drop same coin into hose opening on power head. If it rolls out, no clog in PN.
.Broken fan blades, UR. Needs to be taken to shop for repair/replacement.
.
.A reset button is for use if the motor isn’t running, so won’t have anything to do with the suction.
The female part of the catch which holds the lid to the accessories compartment closed has broken. This forms part of the handle to the vacuum cleaner. We’ve had the vacuum for less than a year but cant find the receipt so i think i will just have to pay for the parts. What is the part called that i need or the part number and where can i get it from. Many thanks
ANSWER : Even if you do not have the receipt you are still entitled to one or two year warranty.
Since appliance sales are recorded after-sale by manufacturer, you need to contact the manufacturer to validate the warranty and get the replacement.
Here is the website, click on your location and see Contact Us or After Sale Service on website.

Dirt devil vacuum cleaner–trouble vacuuming dirt and pet hair on carpeting –is the problem with the spinning brush which contacts the floor, not contacting the carpeting?? I thought (when I bought this vacuum) that the aforementioned brush was adjustable to various heights of carpeting. Sometimes, it seems like nothing is being vacuumed up –unless I have just put a new bag on the vacuum… Do I need or can I replace the spinning brush on the bottom of the vacuum so it kicks up and vacuums
ANSWER : Try replacing the belt. Rubber belts stretch out after about a year.
Have Dyson DC 14. When tilt to vacuum, the handle and coiled hose comes away from the unit. The problem started when the little purple ridged curved part on front of vacuum cleaner right below handle came loose and a spring fell out from somewhere–don’t know where. I pushed on the purple ridge part and it snapped back on. Now, can’t get it loose again, don’t know where the spring goes, and handle still comes loose from vacuum.
ANSWER : I’m not positive whether or not this is the wand handle because there are several versions of the DC14. However the device the locks and unlocks the wand in place is pretty similar between all the versions.
The first picture is the wand release catch spring. The second is the wand. The purple piece is the wand release catch. It is held in place at the bottom by two plastic pins. Basically the catch release is pressed over the two pins until they lock in the two holes at the bottom of the catch release. To get it off you need to pry it off and over the plastic pins. The spring simply sets in between the wand shaft and the back side of the catch release. There should be a spot on the back of the catch release to help hold the spring in place. If not you may need to replace the catch release.

I have a Kirby G4 Vacuum Cleaner – MOdel G4 D. I have never had any problems or repairs done to it in the past ten plus years that I’ve had it. This is an upright vacuum. I was vacuuming the carpet floor and was not having any trouble at all. I switched the vacuum off and moved it into a different room. When I tried to turn on the vacuum, it would not turn on. I checked with different outlets, used both front attachment and hose attachment. Checked the front part of the motor/ spiral case. This
HI, I’m trying to find a part for a Sharp upright vacuum. Its the back part of the handle where the cord is stored. I have taken it off but can’t find any part # on it. The model number for the vacuum is EC12TWT4. I was thinking that if I could find a free owner’s manual, that would give me the part # and then I could look for it on the net.
ANSWER : Any vacuum repair shop should be able to get it

Clogged vacuum Rather stupidly, my boyfriend 1) were vacuuming without a bag and 2) vacuumed up a big piece of cotton from a sofa cushion. And now it’s making a horrible noise and I see it vibrating where the tube connects to the machine. When you look inside there’s a white thing sticking out but it looks like it’s part of the vacuum. If it’s a clog, how do you fix it? I tried unscrewing the tray the bag sits in but it won’t budge.
ANSWER : You can start by taking off the bottom plate or top cover, which ever comes off, that is where the inlet starts going in and hopefully the clog is there. Could be in the hose also. But without the complete model number I can’t look it up to see a picture of it.
