Check to see if there is water in the water tank. If there isn`t, unscrew the water tank cap and use the filling flask to pour distilled water into the tank until it reaches the fill line. Producing steam i just got the shark assembled the mv2010, then it is not doing anything, it vacuumed just fine, but when i put the steam pad on it wouldnt ever produce steam or do anything,it felt like the water was heating up but even after it sat for 20-30 minutes when i pull handle back towards me nothing happens, no lights no steam no nothing, so why wont it work

I loved my Shark Steam Pocket Mop, but it suddenly stopped producing steam through the mop heads. I have a Euro-Pro Shark Steam Pocket Mop. I used it twice last year, and then it stopped producing steam. Is there any way that I could easily fix this without dangerous chemicals? Everytime I call the company, I can’t get anyone. The unit heats up, but doesn’t produce steam. I’ve tried white vinegar to no avail. I am afried of using clr after reading that the unit blew up on somoone. I am visually impaired.

My Europro shark steam mop won’t steam, light on but no steam.

ANSWER : Hard water deposits. I ran some white vinegar through mine, like a coffee maker, and it worked for a while, but clogged again. So I unplugged it, let it cool and turned it over in the bathtub and squirted a small amount of Lime-Away into the hole where the steam comes out. Let it soak for 5- 10 minutes and it is working like is is brand new.
