We suggest to replace the belt every 3 to 9 months to ensure the performance of vacuum, the 2-Belt design can be easy for you to replace it, order once, last throughout the year.
An automatic rewind mechanism is what allows the long cord of an electric vacuum cleaner to be stored inside the vacuum cleaner`s case when not in use. The electric cord can get stuck and refuse to budge, making for a potential tripping hazard.
Check that the brush bar is clean and not damaged
If the cleaner becomes noisy or starts vibrating, it may be because some debris has got tangled around the brush roll or agitator situated in the bottom of the cleaner.
Floor cleaning options – The Hoover Windtunnel offers five different floor cleaning options. Each of these options are designed to be used on a variety of surfaces. Some of these surfaces include hardwood floor, low pile carpet, and high pile carpet.
Yes, you can run a vacuum cleaner at 12 amps. However, home electrical outlets can handle up to 20 amps on specific circuits, which is more than enough power for most vacuum cleaners. Still, the UL generally certifies 12 amps so you won`t find any high-powered vacuums on the market.
Most upright cleaners are seven to 12 amps. Many canister models are 12 amps. The maximum allowable amps that can be plugged into a household outlet is 12 amps. So even if your vacuum has the highest possible amps, it does not mean that is is necessarily the better the vacuum.
Check the Rotator Brush and Wheels
Sometimes pieces of string or other objects get wrapped around your vacuum`s rotating brush or around the wheels of the vacuum. Unplug your vacuum. Turn it over and have a look at the wheels and brush. If you see any pieces of string or objects lodged there, remove them.

Remove the hose from the main body of the vacuum cleaner. Attach the hose to the exhaust port of the vacuum cleaner. Turn on the vacuum cleaner and use the hose to clean as usual. By attaching the hose to the exhaust port of the vacuum cleaner, you are essentially reversing the airflow.
The two main indicators to determine vacuum power performance are water lift and airflow. The water lift is measured in mmH2O, mbar or kPa. It represents the suction force and is the reference parameter for vacuuming liquids and heavy materials. The airflow is measured in m3/h or in l/s.
If you`re smelling rubber, the belt has either burned out and snapped or the belt has become so stretched out that the roller is not moving and the vacuum belt is getting super heated from the motors RPM.
In fact, vacuums are superior to mopping practices when it comes to your hardwood, because they suck up the debris and dirt straight away, rather than just spreading those scratch-causing particles around.
Avoid Vacuum Beater Bars
You`re likely very familiar with the rotating brush on the bottom. This is known as the beater bar. It`s designed to fluff up the carpet nap to remove dirt from the fibers. It will also scratch your hardwood flooring.
Rinse the filter
Any fine dust remaining in the filter can usually be removed with a gentle rinse under a cold tap – hold the filter under the running water until the water runs clear. You shouldn`t need to use any detergent – just water.
If you have dirty filters, you`ll notice a stale odor immediately when you turn on the vacuum and reduced suction as you work. For high traffic areas, the filter may need to be cleaned monthly. For most homes, vacuum filters should be cleaned at least every three months.
A regular sized household vacuum cleaner will use between 500 and 3000 watts of energy, an average best selling model will use around 1400 watts.
Next, you need to consider suction power. Typically expressed in Pa (pascals), this is a measurement of how powerful the motor is inside a robot vacuum. A good number to look for here is around 2,000Pa or above for an effective clean.
An upright vacuum cleaner should be around 100 air watts and a cylinder vacuum cleaner needs to be about 220 air watts.
What is a Good Suction Power for a Vacuum Cleaner? An upright cordless vacuum cleaner should have at least 100 air watts to effectively clean a variety of floor surfaces, with the best Samsung vacuum cleaner reaching up to 210W*.
Rough vacuum: 760 to 25 Torr. Medium vacuum: 25 to 1×10–3 Torr. High vacuum: 1×10–3 to 1×10–9 Torr. Ultra-high vacuum: 1×10–9 to 1×10–12 torr. Extremely high vacuum: Less than 1×10–12 Torr.
As a central vacuum manufacturer we use the 120 and 240 volt motors. The 120 and 240 motors will not be adversely affected if used with lower voltages. The 120 volt motor will be fine on 110 volts. Likewise, a 240 volt motor will be fine on 220 or 230 volts.
