If there is something that has become caught in the hose in another part of the system, the airflow will be reduced and can cause overheating and a shut down. .Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Hoover F5881-900 Vacuum. It sounds to me that if you have a clean bag and filter, it sounds like you have dust in the motor section and it needs to be cleaned and or take a good blower and blow out the dirt or you may have a clog or dirt build up in the suction line and that might be causing the dusty smell. Please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or call the Hoover factory and ask for tech support. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Parts replacement We have a Hoover Steam Vac that has a broken part #10 in your picture or Part # 37271035. Does this part cover the whole top section of the Vac? Is it hard to replace? Where can you get the best prices on Hoover parts? I have been on Hoovers website and they don’t even recognize this Steam Vac. which is hard to believe they don’t even recognize their own unit? I was using my Henry Hoover as usual. When i sucked up quite a fair sized puddle of water. The hoover instantly cut out and a strange burning smell was coming from it. Would this be the fuse, motor etc ? Or would it be worth my while just replacing the entire hoover ?
ANSWER : Hi. I have to wonder why anyone would **** up a puddle of water with a dry vacuum cleaner (with no earth lead). I realise that your question may simply be a joke, but if you are serious, I think it is probably fair to assume that it is now dead and probably gone to “Henry Heaven”. Perhaps it would pay you to buy a “Charles” which is a wet & dry version of Henry.

My Hoover Steam Vac model f5915-900 no longer heats the floor to reduce drying time. I have cleaned the bottom of the machine where it says “heated cleaning.” Anything else I can try? Thanks.
ANSWER : The SteamVac blows warm air from the motor into the carpet to help loosen oily types of soil. If the motor is running, the air will be exhausted. This system is not meant to reduce drying time, but only to enhance cleaning.

I have the euro steam blaster s3325 when I turn it on, the steam ready **** comes on right away not heating can the heating element be replaced? thanks

Hoover f7411-900 steamvac dual v, water heating unit repair
ANSWER : The element is burned out or the sensor is shot. When there is no water present a sensor is supposed to turn off the heating coil. This sensor is most likley fail safe, meaning if it is broken it wont turn on the heat because it doesn’t know if there is water or not. Or the coil itself is fried. Somtimes running it for too long, or on a long extension cord will cause them to fail.
