Hoover U6630-900 WindTunnel Bagless Upright Vacuum\015 My one month old Hoover Windtunnel Bagless vacuum started making this loud awful sound then started smelling. After unscrewing the four screws over the roller I found a bolt that fell off the wheel holding the thick belt. The belt was split and the plastic was melted. I can’t figure out how to put the bolt back on. The angle is wrong and I cant get my fingers or any tool in there to put it back on. Help.\015

Great option for a vacuum cleaner for around $100. It has a retractable cord, extendable hose with attachments, and different settings for the type of floor.
Dusting Brush
Round with long, soft bristles, it helps whisk windowsills, bookcases, framed art, lampshades, and blinds. If your vac is equipped with variable suction, you can also use it for more delicate tasks, such as cleaning around knick-knacks.
Hold the floor tool as best as you can using your foot and twist the metal pipe.. this should `break the bond`. As soon as you have movement after twisting the pipe, you should find that it pulls free.

Check the Rotator Brush and Wheels Sometimes pieces of string or other objects get wrapped around your vacuum`s rotating brush or around the wheels of the vacuum. Unplug your vacuum. Turn it over and have a look at the wheels and brush. If you see any pieces of string or objects lodged there, remove them.
One of the easiest ways to increase vacuum cleaner suction is to empty the dust bag or container. Dust containers need to have enough space for airflow, otherwise, they could get clogged and have less suction power. Regularly check your dust compartment and empty or change it when it`s already 70-80% full.

Hoover Bagless Windtunnel – Self Propel feature not working
ANSWER : I have the same problem with ours. If you lift the vacuum by the handle it breaks the lever on the transmission. You can find a replacement cable and lever on line for about $16.00 it is somewhat involved to repair but can be done by someone with mechanical ability. You can try and find a repair shop but be careful, they sometimes tell you the part is not available and try to sell you something else. I think they should be able to do the job for aprox. $80.00, but they may want more. I did it myself plus the height adj. knob for $24.00

ANSWER : I had the same problem – I found the elbow behind the brush was plugged. You have to remove the floor brush, canister, and hose. Look into the pipe from the top, looking toward the floor brush. Most likely, that’s where its plugged. Also check the hose – run a broom handle down the hose.

Hoover Windtunnel My Hoover Windtunnel is 3 years old. It worked great until yesterday when it lost all suction. I have followed the manual to trouble shoot any possible clogs and could find none. Then I noticed that when I remove the dirt collection cup and held my hand over the vent the suction is fine and strong. So… I replaced the hepa filter thinking that might be the problem. That didnt’ work. The motor runs fine. The suction without the dirt cup inserted is strong. As soon as you insert
ANSWER : Mine does the same thing. There is no suction. I found that there is a door that opens when you tilt the handle in the down possition. I think there should be a spring in place so it can open. Until I find a replacement spring I have to open the door manually throught the opening under the light.

ANSWER : Either the hose has a clog, or the inlet down by the belt is clogged. Is there suction at the end of the hose, if not then it is clogged. If there is suction, then it has to be clogged down below by the brush roll, check that inlet. There also is a filter at the bottom where the dirt cup (and bag) is, check it also.
