Remove the bin by pressing the release button to the side of the carry handle. To release the dirt, press the red bin release button. To minimise dust/allergen contact when emptying, encase the clear bin tightly in a plastic bag and empty.
To release the dirt, hold the appliance by the handle, pull the red lever back and lift upwards. Continue until the bin base automatically opens and releases the dirt. Once the dirt is released, push the cyclone back down until it clicks. Close the bin base of the machine ensuring it clicks in to place.

Remove the bin and cyclone assembyl by pressing the release button above the word Dyson on the carrying handle towards the machine.
Then hold the bin and cyclone assembly over a dustbin and pull the trigger located underneath the carrying handle which will release the bin base to empty the dust and debris from the bin.
