Whether your vacuum is bagged or bagless (A.K.A. it has a canister), you should NOT wait until it fills up before cleaning it out, organizing guru Peter Walsh says! “Empty them when they`re about a third or a half full,” Peter advises. “That really helps them work much more efficiently.”
A vacuum is defined as a space devoid of all matter. In the Solar System, space contains on average five atoms per 1cm3. Interstellar space, between stars, contains around one atom per 1cm3, while intergalactic space, between galaxies, contains 100 times less.

Plug the charger directly into an electrical outlet. Use the charger only in a standard electrical outlet (120V/60Hz). Do not attempt to use the charger with any other product; do not attempt to charge this product with any other charger. Use only the charger supplied by the manufacturer to recharge.

.Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. It sounds to me that the unit you have may have to be vented outside as I am not familiar with this particular unit, or it could very well be that it is missing a filter or the filter you have inside already is shot and is in need of replacement or on some central vacs there are paper filter that go over the cloth type filter. Again, I am not familiar with this older unit but feel free to contact the Electrolux Factory or Manufacturer and give them the model # and the serial # for the unit and they will have a breakdown of if it should be vented and what type of filtration it should be using. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

I take the dust bin out, and the brushes spin…. and it has much more power…. and is very clear it is working! But it’s useless without the dust bin! ANSWER : HI,
If the brushes work , without the bin, the problem , the problem could be caused , due the failure at the bin lock mechanism. There is a sensor that checks if the BIN is connected properly or not. This problem is best resolved by getting the same replaced .

How do I empty the resevoir , I can empty the cold watet tank. We are moving so need to completely empty all water.
ANSWER : Hi,

The water reservoir lifts out. There are two tabs on the side which lock it in place. You may have to pres on them to remove it. If you are wanting to completely empty the entire machine, I have found an instruction manual and have instructions for purging: Fill reservoir with clean water and replace on machine with lid on it. Raise and lower handle without K cup inserted. Wait for the red light next to “heating goes off.
The blue lights on the control center will begin flashing. Put a cup on the drip tray and press “Brew”

When finished, repeat brew procedure 2 or 3 times and inner tank should be empty.

Hope this helps, if it does, please place a vote for me.

Good luck with your move,

I’ve been using a small shop vac in the seller to vacuum up dust, sawdust etc. I have emptied the inside and the filter looks laden with dust. It does not “****” any longer. What is wrong and what do I do to fix it?
ANSWER : You have to clean the filter too. Use an air hose to clean it or brush it off with a stiff brush or you can wash it if it isn’t paper. As a last resort you can get a new one.

I cannot get the top of the dust cylinder to empty it
ANSWER : Check for any switches, latches or buttons that me lever, slide, twist or completely remove your cylinder.

These have been designed to be intuitive to use. (I know sometimes these machines appear counterintuitive). Patience and you can find the way.

What model/make of vacuum, and we may be able to find a manual explaining how to empty cylinder.
