Water is passed through a filter to ensure clean fresh mist is dispersed into the air for a healthier environment.

Fill humidifier tank 1/2 full with water and 1/2 tablespoon of chlorine bleach. Let the solution stand for 20 minutes, swishing every few minutes. Wet all surfaces. Carefully empty the tank after 20 minutes, and rinse with warm water until you cannot detect any bleach smell.
Most humidifiers contain filters, which help to keep the moist air clear of any impurities. They remove particles and bacteria from the water before it is dispensed into the air. You need to change your filters regularly, so you can continue to enjoy healthy air and keep your humidifier in good condition.
The filter also removes minerals and physical impurities from the water before evaporation, helping prevent white dust (mineral content from the water). To keep a filtered humidifier running well, you`ll need to replace the filter every 30-60 days, depending on how frequently you use the humidifier.
To function properly and effectively, a humidifier needs a regularly scheduled filter replacement. Replacing the filter on your humidifier is only required every 1 to 3 months, depending on how frequently you use your humidifier and what type of water you use in the water tank.
If your humidifier does not produce air or mist, check if the tank has water in it. The tap water you use might be hard or high in minerals. We recommend that you use distilled water or a combination of half distilled and half tap water.
Remove and refill the water tank, being sure to follow the Daily Maintenance instructions. Replace the tank onto the base. 4. Allow 15 minutes for the Automatic shut off to reset.
Unplugged, fill the base of the humidifier with 1 cup of water and 1 cup of white vinegar and leave it to sit for an hour. The vinegar is a natural cleanser and it`ll help loosen any residue and disinfect the small unit.
Distilled white vinegar, citric acid powder, or a similar weak acid: One of these will help you remove any buildup of limescale and other minerals that can stick to parts of your humidifier.
Remove the filter from the humidifier and soak in a 50/50 mixture of water and white vinegar for 15-20 minutes. Rinse the filter with hot, clean water. Allow the filter to air dry before reinserting into the humidifier.

You need to change your filters regularly, so you can continue to enjoy healthy air and keep your humidifier in good condition.
Dehumidifier filters are washable and reusable so keep an eye out for any breaks or tears in the material, this may be an indication that you need a new one.
As you might know, humidifiers that provide cool invisible moisture need a wicking filter in order to operate. The filter is what allows the water to evaporate invisibly into the air.
Most humidifiers come with filters that trap allergens, dirt, dust, and other particles. This is beneficial to your overall air quality, but you will find even more relief or benefit with a whole-home humidifier instead of a smaller, portable version.
Don`t run a humidifier without a filter!

A humidifier with a filter is more efficient and healthier than one without because it prevents the release of contaminants into your air. It traps dust particles, keeping moisture in your room as well as improving air quality.

.Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. Typically the top filter of which is the sponge is washable but the HEPA filter is not, it can be brushed off and vacuum off with another vacuum, but the best filtration is to replace the HEPA filter and to wash the sponge filter, if the sponge filter get to bad then replace the sponge filter as well. Or, you can check with your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or to contact the manufacturer’s website and or phone #. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

I had used Dyson DC08 to **** out a wet car carpet. A few days later when using the V/C, there was a burning smell. Subsequently I washed the flexible hose, changed the pre-filter and post filter , but I wrongly put the pre-filter in the spot for the post filter. When the V/C was next used, there was again a burning smell and sparks. The filters were switched, but the V/C would not re-start.
What shall I do?

Our problem with our Rainbow E Series is that it has sucked water up and blown it out through the lower part of the hepa filter, making the filter wet and dirty. This had happened before and the repair shop did not see any problems with the machine, so we replaced the filter and were very carful not to overfill the tank and to change the water often. Now it has happened again and ruined another filter. Do you know what could be causing this issue? Can the filter be cleaned or will a new one be

1. There is no reason to waste money on an EXPENSIVE replacement. While some people may like the fact that something that may be brand new may work better, this is not always the case.
.

2. You can easily set the filter out to try as long as there is NO WET ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS, if so, you will be facing electrical damage
.

3. Once you have performed a natural or sun dry on the old filter, ensure to check your unit for anything that may have caused the back clog.
.

4. Back clogs for your model are often times associated with a BUILD UP of dirt and HAIR. YOU may always use pressure air for example at a gas station to flush out the build up.
.

5. Other occasions, users accidently build the vac WRONG causing continual backup and water going where it is NOT suppose to go.

My electrolux oxygen cannister has the “bag change” light on when there is a new bag. The light stays on when the suction power is high (to pick up small particles) and it won’t pick up, but the ight goes off when the suction power is low (to pick up big objects). I changed the hepa filter, cleaned the motor filter and changed bags, but all that didn’t help.
ANSWER : You may have a clog in the hose, and/or the inlet by the brush roll. A clog will turn on that light as well as a full bag.

How to change upper filters?
ANSWER : Open the vac as though to change the cone and remove the plastic inner cone with the slotted screw at the bottom.. Underneath you will find a 5″ disk , likely coated with fine dust.
That is the one which needs to be changed. Around that disc will be three more screws holding the upper housing onto the vac. These ones are accessible from inside, if changing the motor.
Below the handle of the vac there is a serial number ring and three screws in an offset triangle. If you remove these and the rubber cover for the toe switch, the vac housing will come off. This will reveal the `foam or cotton “muffler“. You can replace it or wash and dry it if foam. It acts as a muffler more than a a filter….
