In the ION P50, there is a release latch on one side of it with an “eject roller” written. Gently push it forward to release the roller. Make sure to have the nozzle low to the ground or have another hand to catch it, so it doesn`t drop to the ground. Once you push the lever, the roller pops out.
Roller brush is not spinning
Check to make sure the vacuum is switched to the correct mode. The switch should be in the Power and Brushroll mode to make the roller spin. If it is in just the power mode the roller will not move. The brushroll indicator light should be green when working.
Where is the shark vacuum brush bar reset button? You can find the shark brush-bar reset button on the underside of the vacuum.
Detach the power nozzle from the vacuum and turn it so the right side is facing you. Pull down the blue tab to the direction where the arrow is facing. The brush roller should now pop out. Putting the brush roller in again does not require pulling the blue tab.

I have an old upright hoover vacuum. I need to change the belt but can’t figure out how to get to it. The bottom plate over the roller brush comes off but I can’t get anything else off to get to the other end of the belt.
The belt wont turn…i cant get in to the inside to check to see if the belt isnt on the roller…how do i get up in there..i took the bottom plate off and you still cant get inside…

ANSWER : Oh..this happened to me often..if you can get n the corner where the thread s..i used a seem ripper to get the thread out and cut..if this doesn’t help send a picture..the seam ripper is great cause it cuts through hair too
Can’t get it from Roller Brush Off to Roller Brush On
ANSWER : On some model there is also a plastic tab to unlock the roller brush, check it out. You must also have the right tool installed.

ANSWER : If its a hoover or bissell, one side of the brushroll is slotted and slides. if its a eureka the hexagon end caps must be properly aligned, they go in at an angle. if its none of these provide me with the make and model # and i will give you a detailed description on installation. let me know if you need more help.
I have the Bissell 2x proheat. There is no water being sucked up from the bladder and the cleaning solution is not being sucked in either in order to get to the carpet. On water rinse the carpet gets wet but I’m not seeing any water going through the clear front piece. I live in Harvest Alabama. Where can I take it to get fixed if it needs it?
