Slide the hose into the handle until you hear a clicking sound. Turn your wand around so that the handle is facing the hose and slide the hose into the opening at the top of the handle. Once the hose and wand click into place, they are locked together.

I have the dyson animal. There is something stuck in the wand tube and everyting is getting caught on it. There is very little suction from the wand. How do I get the wand apart or somehow get the object stuck out of the tube? Thanks
ANSWER : Yes, things stuck in vacuum hoses are not always as easy to remove as one might think. Trying to push it out with something can be counter-productive, and only get the thing stuck tighter! If you have a second vacuum, you can try sucking it out the way it came in (and risk getting it stuck in the other machine. Or you can try pulling it out, using a wooden stick with a small hook screwed in the end. If you try a piece of bent wire, you must be careful not to perforate the hose. Usually just requires a bit of ingenuity.

I am trying to replace the cable and actuator on a Hoover windtunnel self propelled vacuum. but I cant get the top or hood off the get to them, I have removed all the screws I can see, roller, belts..what am I missing?? thanks so much for any help
ANSWER : Hi there SmartAlec from NelsonVacuums.com.au here. You will need to remove the knobs for carpet/hard floor selection and the carpet height to remove the cover they act as kind of a locking pin. And from memory there are 2 catches on the sides as well that need a flat blade screwdriver to unclip them you can see them when vacuum is upside down on the very edges of the machine (small rectangular holes).
Hope this helps
