The cleaning light indicator light signals that the unit needs to be cleaned. The cleaning light will continue to blink for quite some time – the equivalent of three brew cycles.
If you pull your shot too long or too short it will be out of balance. How do you know when to stop? The conventional answer is that you do it when the shot “blonds” turning from brown to blond.
Won`t Power On? Check to see if it is plugged in; if it is, unplug the machine, plug it back in, and press the ON/OFF power button again. If the machine still does not operate, check the fuse or circuit breaker on the electrical circuit it is connected to and make certain the circuit is closed.
There are two main reasons there`s no flow coming from your group: a clog or a faulty brew valve. Have you been experiencing anything abnormal before the flow stopped? Low flow would likely indicate a clog, while strange noises would be more indicative of a faulty valve.
Err1 – A button may be jammed. Unplug the coffee maker and press each button several times. Plug the coffee maker into a grounded 3-prong outlet. If “Er1” appears again on the display, repeat this procedure.
The most common cause of a flashing light is excessive scale deposits in the machine. If your home has hard water, scaling is even more likely the cause of a flashing light. Open the machine, water container, carafe, and filter basket and check for grey-white (sometimes bluish) calcium deposits.
Make sure the dishwasher`s door is completely closed and latched. Press the “hi-temp scrub” and “energy saver dry” buttons one after the other until each button has been pressed 5 times. These buttons may also be called “hi-temp” or “heated dry” or something similar depending on your model.

I have a kitchenaid artisan coffee machine which is 15 months old just out of warranty. when you start to make an esspresso coffee the machine runs but no water is being pumped through the coffee to the cup you can hear the machine working but no coffee.
Hello lloyd….. There are a few possible causes of this problem. The first is using coffee which is too fine a grind. The second is a machine which needs to be thoroughly cleaned. Most can fix those two areas themselves. The other causes have to do with the amount of pressure the machine is producing. If, for instance the boiler safety valve opens too soon, the pump will not get to the necessary pressure of 7 to 9 bars.
.That said, begin by cleaning it thoroughly as per the manual. IF you do not have a manual, here is the link to all kitchenaid manuals http://shared.whirlpoolcorp.com/product_literature/search_results.jsp?searchTerm=5KES100&siteCd=KAD&userType=Servicer

I have a Bissel 9300-C 0714 BC Carpet Shampooer. It was working great and all of a sudden it stopped working. It still sucks up dirty water but it does not spray water onto the carpet. I can get it to spray water through the smallest hand attatchment but not through the large hand held piece on the base of the machine. I really hope you can help me, I am a dog groomer and I really need my machine to work properly. I can get it to spray water out of the smallest hand attatchment but
that’s all t
The spray jet has become clogged from the soap…. just clean it out. same thing happened to my attachment.
Water is not being discharged. I have filled the reservoir that holds the carpet cleaner fluid And I have filled the water container. I know how to use the cleaner, it has always worked, But now, no water is being discharged to the carpet. I turn it on, squeeze the trigger, but nothing comes out. The wheel that is suppose to spin (to indicate that water is being discharged) is not spinning. Everything else works. I.e. the suction works, and the hand held accessories work.
That means that the pump belt is worn and it needs to be replaced. You can get a replacement belt and view the manual here:
Bissell Pump Belt
Water and cleaner not coming out, The machine is only 6m old and was working fine, I have cleaned every where I can to see if there was a blockage but nothing is working. The heater is working, there is a suction but the water and soap will not realease when triger is pulled. it will not work on on the tool spay.
Check the complede length of the hose. You may find a crimp in the most inconvenient place. You say you cleaned everything … can you blow through the hose where the cleaner comes out? (don’t drink anything!)
Hi my proheat bissell 7901 stopped pumping water to the floor, but it pumps water from the hand hose. I read the manual and followed how to check belt and the flat belt on right side of shampooer is fine and I turned on and it turns and so do the brushes at the bottom of the machine. I was reading online and I guess there’s two belts on this machine? where can I find the other belt to see if it needs replacing. I guess it’s a ribbed belt? that is the water pump belt?
Just taken ours apart with the same problem… found it was caused by the 2 halves of the main casing coming apart in the area where the upright pedal release is. I found this to be due to the upper casing having broken in 2 places – the bottom of the screw wells..This means that the water tank cannot exert sufficient pressure on the valve to release the water..Only solution is a new top cover assembly
We have bissell pro heat and I have put new belts on and took off the top plastic cover I blew out the lines and I still can’t get it to pump water or solution. The red little spinner flow indicater does’nt get water, if I pour water into it it runs out the front. I guess I don’t know what else to do. The machine worked fine the last time we used it about 6 months ago. Any suggesttions?
Did you check and make sure the belt is still on right? They do come off from time to time.
There are like 6 long screws holding the top cover to the bottom. The are real pain in the behind to put back together once you take them off. The pump in locate between the spinner and the front. Please look and see if the motor and belt turns. If they do, check the tubing on the pump. They may have either been caught when you reassembled the unit. Or the tubes may have been detached. Also, check and make sure the tool / floor knob is set to floor.
If the motor does not turn, then check the wiring. The wiring on the Pro heat is pretty straight forward. The problem is that it is very difficult to put this thing back together without breaking something. Watch out for that long plastic tube where the screws goes by the water tank, they break off rather easily.
If the motor turn, tubing looks right and wiring looks right, take a look at the coupler where the water tank connects to the unit and make sure they are not broke. Check the red plastic overflow protection trap inside of the water tank. If it is stuck at the top, water will not come out. It is for overflow prevention.
Good luck, but please consider bring the unit to a repair shop if you.still have a problem after checking all that. It is just such a pain.in the behind unit to work on.
We have a Bissell Proheat 2X (model 8920). The problem we are having is when water/soap is initially released (all settings) it continues to leak out the front water spray nozzles unit the water containers are empty. The vacuum works but can’t keep up with the continuous water leaking out. Do you have any idea what is sticking open to allow the continued release of water when the machine is running? Thanks Rick
Return it. It is faulty and should not do that. Mine does not. Does require changing water about evrery 10 minutes but one can see the filth in the water. Also re-clean with plain water over areas that were cleaned to remove all cleaner. Old cleaner in carpet to dirt is like a bug attracted to a bug zapper. It can be time consuming, but it will pay for itself and can do a great job if you pay attention when water or cleaner runs out, otherwise it will not clean properly!
I have only had my shark steam mop for about a month and only used it twice. I tried to use it yesterday and it would not work. The green light came on and it worked for maybe ten seconds, then it completely shut off. I tried switching outlets and draining the water but nothing worked. It still doesn’t work today either. What do you think is wrong? Does this product have a warranty?
Yes has warranty call Shark/europro.
