All locks are set to a default of 0-0-0 at the factory. If you`ve forgot your unique combination you are going to need assistance from a Samsonite Authorised Repair Centre to unlock your combination lock. To locate your nearest Repair Centre, please click here.
Put pressure on the locking mechanism by pushing the button or pulling on the lock. Turn the first dial slowly until you hear an audible click, which signals it`s the correct number. Repeat the process for the next two dials. When all three numbers are correct, the lock will open.
On every TSA lock there is a reset button hidden inside a tiny hole in the back or bottom of the lock. Find a pointy object like a paperclip or safety pin and push the button until you hear the lock release. Step #3: Select a new combination for your TSA lock.
A: Unfortunately, you cannot reset this lock without knowing the current combination. You`ll likely need to purchase a new lock.
1. When a new luggage is bought, the default 3-digit number lock setting is 0-0-0. 2. To change the number lock setting, first press & hold the reset button on the side of the lock.
First, locate the reset button on the back of the lock. You`ll need to press and hold the reset button while you turn the dials to the combination you want. Once the reset button is released, the combination is set. When you want to open the lock, you`ll need to turn the dials to the combination you set.

Our Samsonite Pixel Cube suitcase combination lock won’t unlock! We are definitely putting the correct combination into it but the lock isn’t moving and the suitcase is full of our belongings! We’ve used it on numerous occasions before and never had a problem with it so can’t understand why it has suddenly jammed!

However the opener is not responding. Is there a way to reset on the motor by taking off the housing? I don’t see any reset button on the out side of the housing.thnx

ANSWER : You could always try unplugging the unit and plugging it back in. If that doesn’t work the logic board is probably fried and unfortunately there is no replacement available for it any longer. You would need to buy a new opener. I’d recommend Liftmaster.
I have a Dyson Animal upright (purple). I took it apart to clean the cyclone chambers. When re-assembling the bottom closed before the opening rod was inserted. I can’t get the opening rod installed with the bottom opening closed. How do I open it? Thanks.
ANSWER : I looked in our DC07. I would try removing the top again and getting a long dowel or the opening rod, insert it down into the unit and PUSH. The opening rod opens the latch by pushing it, not pulling it. Here are some pictures of the latch. Top pic is in the unlock position. Bottom is the normal position.
I hope this helps.

After a brief power outage my Marantec 4700 garage door opener has problems opening/closing. When opening it stops at the fully open position and the lights blink, when closing it automatically reverses just as it fully closes and then the lights start to blink again. I checked for obstructions and tried to reset the limits of travel per the manual, it still does the same thing. Any ideas on what to try next?
ANSWER : This is not a sensor issue, I have a similar problem, sensors work fine, garage door is still fully functional, all operations, including safety sensors work properly, just the overhead lights flash. I suspect there was damage to the power board due to a power surge, going to order a replacement to see if it works, will let you know how it goes.
Dirt cup lock on windtunnel vacuum won’t lock
ANSWER : It may have to be taken off and then re-installed, but if it is only 1 and 1/2 old, then it is under warranty. There is a full year on Hoover vacuums. Just take proof of purchase with you and take it to a warranty repair shop. You should have their 1-800 to call and find the closest shop. Warranties are void if you temper with it.

My garage door opener will start to close then stop and go back to the open position. If I put pressure on the door as it is closing sometimes it will close all the way and sometimes it will return to the open position. Can you help me. Thanks
ANSWER : Sounds like the pressure sensor is being tripped – this is a safety feature on most makes in the last 10 years.
Find the make/model of your device and it probably has some knobs on the main unit to adjust.
For example, on the Chamberlain Power Drive 3/4 HP Chain Drive Garage Access System model PD752D:

My Dyson DC14 Animal doesn’t have the suction it used to. The piece in the back on the bottom – a flap it appears – stays open now, causing the machine to make a louder noise than usual. At first, if I put my hand on the flap opening it would close, allowing for normal suction. Now, it stays “open” permanently”, causing the loss of suction.
