How to Identify and Fix Common Vacuum Problems ?

Locate the Thermal Motor Reset button on the back of the vacuum. Press button and resume vacuuming. If problem continues, contact your Authorized Simplicity Retailer.
Check that the vacuum cleaner is plugged into a working power outlet and that fuses and breakers don`t need resetting. An activated thermal cut-out due to a blockage is the next most likely cause of the problem. Check for blockages in the hose and filters, and remove any obstructions that you find.
To fix a clog in the hose, feed one end into a garbage bag, and poke the other end with the back of a mop pole, until you push the clog material out into the garbage bag. To fix a clog in the vacuum, whether it is a canister or bag, use your finger to feel for a clog. Pull as much of it out as you can and discard.

Filter I bought this Hoover a few years ago– just now about to use it first time. On my M&S Air Vac AV425 central vaccuum system, the system usually turns on by inserting the vaccuum hose into one of the vaccuum outlets. However, it now runs continuously. I am able to turn it off only by unplugging the vaccuum from the electrical outlet. I purchased my Bissel PowerSteamer Clearview a few years or so ago, and cannot find where I filed the manuals. If I find the actual seriel number on the Bissel PowerSteamer Clearview, Is there a way that I can purchase another manual? I really do not have any problem with my Bissel, but being I am 75 years of age and do not use it myself anymore, I want to give it to a daughter of mine (but I would like to have the manuals that go with it to give to her also).

Hello,
I am looking for a wiring diagram to install a touch/dimmer switch by “Comfort” mdl # RH-934B – Darjung Ind Ltd.
It has a standard lampcord (two wires) coming from it as well as one white, one black and one yellow wire.
The original touch/dimmer switch (no identification on it) had one white, one black, one red and one yellow – no lampcord.

ANSWER : The black and the white will go to the lamp ,eg,output.The yellow is the sensor wire which should be firmly attached to the metal base of the lamp
