Push hose into clip and insert end of hose into base of vacuum. Insert the lower cord wrap and turn it to the left to lock it into place. Insert the end of the hose into the back of the vacuum and twist clockwise to lock it into place. Put your accessory tools on the vacuum and you`re ready to go!
Screw the hose fitting onto the faucet or faucet connector.
Push the end of the hose over the end of the faucet—or the faucet connector, if one is attached. Then, twist counterclockwise until the hose is attached snugly to the faucet.
Unplug and check to see if your clean tank is seated properly. Also, remove the dirty water tank and make sure there are no clogs in the hose below it. Remove the filter and clean both the screen and filter of any build up or debris and empty the tank before replacing it.
Taking Care Of Your Vacuum Cleaner
The only time a hose needs to be replaced is when there`s a puncture in it that prevents proper suction. If you change the tube and it still doesn`t run correctly, then there`s another issue which might indicate the need for a new vacuum cleaner.
Screw the hose fitting onto the faucet or faucet connector.
Push the end of the hose over the end of the faucet—or the faucet connector, if one is attached. Then, twist counterclockwise until the hose is attached snugly to the faucet.
First, you`ll want to position the handle so the lower tab is facing the back of the vacuum. Now, insert the handle into the base and push until you hear it lock into place. Now, attach the hose by twisting the elbow end into the unit clockwise, then into the hose clip. Then insert the other end into the foot.
The most common problem with a vacuum cleaner is also the easiest to remedy: clogs in the hose or attachments. Also the electrical cord, motor, switch, fan, brushes, and motor bearings can all need repair or replacement. The drive belt may need replacing; and the attachments, hoses, and filters may need unclogging.
Locate the brush reset button on the lower back right of the vacuum. Press the button to reset the brushroll To ensure the brush has been reset, plug the vacuum back into the electrical outlet.

.I have this machine. I use it for my heavy sewing, as it will go through anything. I would be happy to copy the manual and send it to you for copy costs. Just let me know. I would love to know what knowledge you have gained about this machine. It does not appear to be an easy machine to find info on, may not have produced a lot? I had no idea it was not a European produced machine.

I think the pump needs to be replaced in my Bissell little green machine. Some water/solution is being pushed through but not enough to spray only drip, if I hold the machine up high while using it (ie on a table) it will spray a little. Is the pump easy to replace? is there anywhere to get a parts diagram?
ANSWER : I got my Little Green ProHeat when the product was first unveiled.several years ago. Shortly thereafter, the nozzle itself developed a.clog in the spray jet. Remove the nozzle from the end of the hose, and.with the machine running pull the trigger. If a great amount of.solution comes out of the supply hole, then your nozzle is clogged. .You can try clearing it with a very thin pin and then rinsing it out.
.
.In about 6 months, my pump would no longer spray solution at all but I.could hear the tiny pump still running inside the machine when I would.pull the trigger. Remove the tanks, unplug the unit, and look.carefully and you will see the few screws holding the unit together. .Pull it apart carefully and don’t use much force as some of it snaps.together and you don’t want to break those tabs. Once open, you can.find the solution pump, a little fella. The drive shaft on the motor.that spins the pump had rusted away completely! Design flaw. In lieu.of getting it repaired, I simply started using a spray bottle for my.solution application. Several years later and I’m ready to take the.time to replace the pump – a very simple process. From the research.I’ve done, the part number for the solution pump is:
.Manufacturer’s Part Number: 6035029
.If you google search “Bissell 6035029 VacPartsWarehouse” without the quotes, you should find your part there for around $9.
.
.Try this direct link to VacPartsWarehouse’s website:
.
VacPartsWarehouse Bissell 1425-2 Little Green ProHeat.Click item #9. It’s very simple to install. If you can wield a.philips screwdriver, and pay attention to how you’ve disassembled the.unit and then just reverse the steps, you can fix this yourself on the.cheap.

.Good luck! 🙂

Need instructions how to use Hoover Steam Vac Spin Scrub. I borrowed it from my Sister and she left it with no instruction book or letting me know how to operate it. I put water & cleaner in top tank. That’s all I know to do. Do I put any water in bottom tank? I figured not, since that is probably where the water goes when sucked up by vac. Do I leave lid on bottom tank? I usually use a commercial cleaner, and this is very different. I need to know NOW, as I must return it to her today, and I’m
ANSWER : I did have a solution in just a few minutes. Someone responded with a solution that gave me the website where I could go and print the manual in pdf, so did that, and checking instructions I was able to clean my carpets and get the shampooer back to my sister later the same day. I really appreciated your site and help I got for my problem. I found it on google. Thanks again!

[email protected] I have a Kirby Heritage II Turbo and I need a user’s manual, but can’t find one anywhere. I have to replace the fill tube in the bag and can see the cable tie on top that holds it in place, but don’t know how it’s attached to the mini-emtor. If I can’t replace the fill tube, will tape fix it? If I just taped it; will it hold? Thanks.
ANSWER : Taping usually just causes a mess. The mini-emptor has coarse threads on it that the fill tube screws on to. Occasionally there is a cable tie on the bottom which is not really necessary. If you cut the tube near the bottom, you can get hold of it’s wire frame and rip it out. After cleaning the threaded area on the mini-emptor, wet one end of the new fill tube with water and screw it well down. The bag top adapter can then be put on and secured with cable ties.
