The details about your model and serial number can be found on a sticker on the underside of the vacuum. The serial number is printed on the label on the right side of the unit. The serial number is located on the outer right side of the unit.
You will find the model number on a sticker or rating plate. This can usually be found on an inner panel behind the salad drawer, or on an internal wall within the fridge.
Next to the motor, the belt on your vacuum is just about the most important part of your vacuum. Without the belt to spin the brushroll, most vacuums won`t pick up on carpeting at all! If your vacuum uses a rubber belt, check it once a month for cracks, melting, and especially, slippage.
If all you hear from the vacuum unit is a click at the when you try to start the vacuum motor from inside the house, then the motor in the unit is dead and has to be replaced. A strong odor from the shellac, which coats the copper coil windings, is an indicator that the motor is about to or has burnt out.
The most common reason for vacuum motors failing is overheating. Most `dry` vacuums have a flow-though motor. These motors use the air they have sucked up the dust with, to cool themselves. When there is a blockage, flow-though motors are unable to cool themselves due to the lack of airflow.
First, test the power switch for continuity to ensure that the motor is getting power. If the power switch has continuity, ensure that the blower wheel turns freely and is clear of obstructions. If power is getting to the motor, and the motor turns freely, but the motor still won`t run, replace the fan motor.
The suction motor creates vacuum pressure and suction by rotating a motor fan. The impeller rotates at an incredibly high speed of about 30,000 to 35,000 RPM. A suction motor`s power is measured by multiplying the rate of air flow and the vacuum pressure, which induces air flow from the brush through the hose. Brush.
The suction power is measured in Watt (W) and is typically between 250 W and 450 W for machines with 1 motor. The suction power is to be measured at the end of the tube of a complete vacuum cleaner (i.e. with tube, hose and filters – but without nozzle).
The basic formula F=PxA is used to calculate the force of the suction cup with: F is holding force (or the vacuum force of the suction cup) P is pressure.
The serial number is a unique sequence of numbers and/or letters which is used to identify your product. Your product serial number can be found in one of the following places: On the back of the machine. On the left or right -hand side.
Serial number: Often abbreviated to S/N, this number is a unique hardware identification number chosen by a company and given to each device or appliance produced. The number is used to match a product to its customer, so that the company has a record of possession.
Every appliance has a serial number supplied by the manufacturer. The serial number is located on label that is typically affixed to the interior of the appliance where it will be protected from damage. The most common location is just inside the door. The serial number is also noted each appliance`s packaging.
The 1st three numbers of your serial number will always provide your manufacture date. The 1st number is the YEAR of manufacture; the 2nd & 3rd numbers indicate the MONTH of manufacture.

.
.I also verified this by pulling up your parts diagram for your model, and it did call this part number as well.

I need a part for a Shop-Vac model number 90LN650C. The part number is 7413100 inlet deflector

My older Dyson DC14 (the purple one) early model with a clutch on the beater bar belt needs a clutch replacement. The bar has been cleaned and there are no worn or damaged parts so I conclude that the clutch at the motor end of the belt needs to be replaced. I can find the part online but no instructions on how to disassemble the vacuum to get to and replace it. Dysons only advice is to give me the address and phone of the nearest service center. Can you help me?
ANSWER : Have a look at www.dysonmedic.com which has some very useful info on dismantling and repairing Dysons.
.
.Although this site doesnt actually cover the DC14 yet, the DC14 is very similar to the DC07 so as regards dissassembling the machine, and replacing the clutch, my experience is that the DC07 info will enable you to do the job.
