Lift up the formula tank from the base of the PowerSteamer, and remove the lid and included straw insert. Pour cleaning formula in the tank to the fill line and replace the straw insert and lid. Return the formula tank to the base of the machine.
Plug the PowerSteamer into a proper outlet and turn ON the Power switch. While pressing the trigger, slowly make several passes over the area to be cleaned. Caution: Do not overwet. Turn the machine Power switch OFF and let BISSELL Advanced Deep Cleaning Formula dissolve the tough soil for 1-2 minutes.
Where`s my serial number? On machines: The serial number is located on a white label like this. It is usually located at the lower back or bottom of the machine (for Lift-Off models – remove Lift-Off pod to locate), or behind the cleaning tanks.

Filter I bought this Hoover a few years ago– just now about to use it first time. I cannot find my user’s manual and don’t know how to change the filter– or to clean it or whatever I am supposed to do with it. This was my grandmothers machine and when she passed there was no owners manual so I am not sure how to use the settings on it or oil it properly. I have a Bissel Pro Heat Plus and I used it once, one year ago.
I may be using it wrong, as my carpets were wet and there was no return (dirty water). If I remember correctly, going forward wets and cleans the area and to dry the area you move backwards. Please help, as I can not find my manual anywhere (which is not like me).

ANSWER : It has only one tank that serves two purposes. It holds the clean water and collects the dirty water, so you only have to empty/fill one tank. If you check reviews of this machine you will see that they basically stop working correctly after a very short time, if I was you I would just contact their customer service at this number 1-800-237-7691

My dyson DC05 has been playing up for a while. The motorhead would start fine with green light on and after a few minutes would stop and light would go green. then the power would go on and off – seemed to only work when I had the handle a certain way. Now no power at all. is there a way that I can check if its the power in the handle section as thats the only way you can turn this machine on? Thanks in advance
ANSWER : As the wires that control the motorhead run all the way down the hose it is a break in the wires you will need to buy the hose assy sorry its not thesort of thing you strip down and repair

I have owned my kirby sentria for 2.5 years and have had no problems until now. The vacuum still works but I cannot lower it all the way down or the light will turn off and it will start to smell like something is burning inside. I use it on the 2nd or 3rd setting with no problem. I have changed the belt and cleaned all the hair and strings that were on the roller but it still has this problem.
