It is possible that your shaver does not turn on or move because it is dirty. There can be hair or dirt particles stuck inside it, causing the shaving heads to be blocked. To fix this problem, properly clean your shaver. If possible, remove the shaving head and clean your shaver from the inside as well.
If a shaver doesn`t work at all, make sure power is on at the outlet, check the battery and recharge it if it is low, and check the electrical cord. If necessary, test the motor and switches (see the Appliance Controls Fix-It Guide). If an electric shaver operates sluggishly, clean and lubricate the heads.
To reset the shaver, press and hold the on/off button for more than 5 seconds. After replacing shaving heads, you can reset the replacement reminder by pressing the on/off button for more than 7 seconds. Otherwise, replacement trigger will turn off automatically after 9 successive shaves.
We recommend replacing the blades every four months. However, this can vary depending on usage and hair type. If you have very thick hair or if you use the OneBlade very frequently, the blades may need to be replaced sooner than four months. If you are a light user, then the blades can last much longer.
For optimal performance, replace your blade once every four months. Please visit our online shop to buy new blades for your OneBlade.
When the travel lock is activated, a lock symbol flashes on your shaver. To deactivate the travel lock press the on/off button on your shaver for three seconds. The lock symbol will first flash and then light up continuously to indicate that the shaver is ready for use again.
If your AirFloss is still not turning on, you can try charging the device by plugging the charger into a live outlet and place your AirFloss on the charger. Note: If you are using your Sonicare AirFloss for the first time, ensure that it is charged for 24 hours.
Place your handle on the charger. Make sure that the charger is plugged in to a live outlet. Leave the handle on the charger for at least 45 seconds. Remove your handle from the charger and place it back on the charger for at least 45 seconds four more times.
Brush head replacement reminder

This symbol will light up when you need to replace your brush head. It can also flash when applying too much pressure (on some models).

If your Philips Sonicare toothbrush turns off by itself, it may be due to the mode selected or another feature of your toothbrush. Your toothbrush will turn off automatically when the recommended cleaning time is up. This is based on the cleaning mode selected.
Philips Series 9000 shaver is the best rotary shaver we`ve ever tested, but it`s also the most expensive, with a price tag that will frighten off the majority of buyers. The Series 7000 is more approachable, giving you most of the same core technology for half the price.
It`s recommended by most brands that foils and blades should be changed every 12-18 months to continue the performance of your electric shaver. Some men might have coarser, thicker hair and if they`re shaving daily, they may need to change their foils and blades earlier than the recommended time.
The OneBlade is equipped with a blade-wear indicator. This means that with use you will see a green patch develop on your blade. This patch is also indicated by arrows on the side. Once this patch is completely green, it is a signal for you to get a new blade.
Cryogenically frozen razor blades last 300% longer than what you`ll find at your local store. They stay sharper longer so your skin can stay smooth and comfortable. By cryogenically tempering our blades at -300° F we improve the durability of each razor blade cartridge.
We recommend that you always unplug a charger after the unit is fully charged to avoid the possibility of unanticipated circumstances such as an unexpected power surge from a lightning strike (or other power line anomaly) potentially causing damage. Only use Razor-supplied chargers.
A: Lithium ion batteries are stressed by overcharging, so it is best not to leave them on the charger for extended periods of time.
Insert the small plug of the charger into the bottom of the shaver and put the supply unit in the wall socket. Depending on the shaver model, the charging time may vary from 1 to 8 hours.
Lubrication frequency must take into account how you use and clean your razor. My recommendation would be this: Twice a week if you don`t use liquid soap to clean your razor. A spray lubricant is probably more practical in this case as it also helps with cleaning the parts.
Use alcohol to disinfect the razor. Clean it well with hot water and soap, rub it with the brush, and when it is clean, dip it in a small glass of isopropyl alcohol, which you can find in any supermarket. The alcohol will evaporate quickly, and is another great way to disinfect your razor.
Learn how to clean razor a blade properly to protect your skin. Using a dirty razor not only can hinder chances of achieving a closer shave but it can also cause skin irritation, razor burn and bumps.
Shaving oils lubricate and moisturise your face providing the perfect base for a close comfortable shave, thus resulting in a pain-free shave with no razor burn, rashes or dry, blotchy skin. 3. It also leaves your face conditioned and moisturised.
Using a pre-shave oil made with plant-based oils (like olive oil and castor oil) beforehand can help hydrate your skin and prepare it for the shaving process. Additionally, the moisturizing effects of pre-shave oil help soften your hair follicles, enabling the razor to shave smoother.
Can you use cooking or motor oil? No—these are too thick for your shaver.

Hello, I have an Electrolux vacuum. In desperation, I vacuumed up some water and my machine stopped. I am hesitant to take the machine to a repair place for fear that if it is a simple repair they will not be honest. Can anyone give me advice on whether this is a problem that requires a new motor or major repair? Thank you!
ANSWER : Although it’s never to be recommended, it is sometimes possible to vacuum up a little water without doing significant damage. However, the fact that your machine then stopped suggests that the electrics got wet. That may or may not have caused expensive damage (probably not), but it is essential that the machine be thoroughly dried out before further attempts to use it. That will involve dismantling it, and my guess is that the labour involved will be the most costly part of the job. A competent vacuum engineer should be able to complete the job in about an hour..
.Good luck! Please remember to rate this response – thank you.

Dirt devil vacuum cleaner–trouble vacuuming dirt and pet hair on carpeting –is the problem with the spinning brush which contacts the floor,  not contacting the carpeting??  I thought (when I bought this vacuum) that the aforementioned brush was adjustable to various heights of carpeting.  Sometimes, it seems like nothing is being vacuumed up –unless I have just put a new bag on the vacuum… Do I need or can I replace the spinning brush on the bottom of the vacuum so it kicks up and vacuums

I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don’t know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? The vacuum does not appear to be damage
ANSWER : If the motor is running, there should be suction. Possible problems depend on whether it’s a canister or upright and are:
.A clog in the hose, UR or canister. Detach hose. Drop small coin in one end and lift hose causing it to roll out the other. If it does, no clog in hose. Drop same coin into hose opening on power head. If it rolls out, no clog in PN.
.Broken fan blades, UR. Needs to be taken to shop for repair/replacement.
.
.A reset button is for use if the motor isn’t running, so won’t have anything to do with the suction.

.I have this machine. I use it for my heavy sewing, as it will go through anything. I would be happy to copy the manual and send it to you for copy costs. Just let me know. I would love to know what knowledge you have gained about this machine. It does not appear to be an easy machine to find info on, may not have produced a lot? I had no idea it was not a European produced machine.

Electrolux Epic 6500SR Full Bag sensor working, Does not Reset properly
ANSWER : The problem was a sticking switch that was not being reset. The vacuum on/off switch mechanism is comprised of two switches. One is the main switch that turns the vacuum on and off. The second is a shut off switch that gets tripped when the full bag sensor is engaged. This second switch is supposed to get reset when you push the on/off switch on the outside of the machine. The full bag shutoff switch was stiff and it, therefore, was taking a couple of presses of the on/off switch to move the shutoff switch back into the running position.

Clogged vacuum Rather stupidly, my boyfriend 1) were vacuuming without a bag and 2) vacuumed up a big piece of cotton from a sofa cushion. And now it’s making a horrible noise and I see it vibrating where the tube connects to the machine. When you look inside there’s a white thing sticking out but it looks like it’s part of the vacuum. If it’s a clog, how do you fix it? I tried unscrewing the tray the bag sits in but it won’t budge.
ANSWER : You can start by taking off the bottom plate or top cover, which ever comes off, that is where the inlet starts going in and hopefully the clog is there. Could be in the hose also. But without the complete model number I can’t look it up to see a picture of it.
