ANSWER : Look for the row of straight vertical lines. This is the straight stitch. There will also be a number dial for stitch length. Use a piece of scrap to find the length of stitch you want. Make sure you have the bottom feed lever or button activated. This will operate the textured plates that come up from underneath to move the material forward or reverse. Also, make sure you drop the presser foot lever before you start. Hold both threads, manually lower the needle to the first stitch starting point and use the pedal from there on. When you press the pedal, you can let go of the threads.

I have a 350E memory craft and I would like to know how to register a new USB or PC Card so I can use the pattern. Also would like to know how I can download patterns on to my Laptop.

...First you need to format the USB..Important: You memory stick USB is less than 1 GB. (The one that came in the package)..

Put the USB stick ito your machine and using the set key,

Page through using the bottom arrow key – you will come to format ( this is also in your manual )

Select the USB memory stick – and wait until it formats, this could take 1 – 5 minutes.

Once formatted, you can copy the designs from the computer to the memory stick.

Put your free embroidery designs (example Winnie Pooh free embroidery logo) in the EMB5folder and they should show up on your Janome 350E.

.Note: If you see the EmbF5 then it has already been formatted by the Janome. ..

Go back to your computer and click on that folder.

You will see ANOTHER sub-folder called Design (or My Designs, or something similar).

That is where you will need to copy over your embroidery files.

Then put the USB back into the Janome 350E sewing-embroidery machine and and they should show up.

Don’t put more than 6 designs on the USB at any one time or it will take forever to load.

If you don’t see the one that you want, then hit the “next page” icon on the Janome screen.

Make sure the USB stick isn’t too large, otherwise it will not be recognized or shows a poor performance.

On my M&S Air Vac AV425 central vaccuum system, the system usually turns on by inserting the vaccuum hose into one of the vaccuum outlets. However, it now runs continuously. Hoover windtunnel t series belt is loose- roller brush doesnt turn.
Its brand new belt is slipping. we bough new belts and putthem on same problem. Can not find solutio in manual.
Is the belt supposed to go around the “metal pulley”. I know it goes around the little metal motor thing, then thru the guide and around the brush.
What is the metal pulley??? Is is the larger round silver thing between the guide and roller?

ANSWER : I also have a loose belt and have bought additional belts but have the same problem. I put the it around the metal rotor and around the brush roller a shown by he Hoover video, and it is loose.
