Instead of saturating your carpet with hot soapy water, the Kirby Multi-Surface Shampoo System works a thick foam into your carpet fibers. Dirt is emulsified in foam then captured on the Multi-Surface Shampoo System tray. This process leaves very little moisture behind allowing your carpets to dry much faster.
On most Kirby vacuum cleaners, filtration is managed by the filter bag that is used to collect dust and debris. However, some models offer a secondary level of filtration in the form of a foam filter or a screen filter.
Wash the filter bag in water with a light laundry detergent, preferably in an industrial laundry machine on the gentle cycle. Spin the bag to remove excess moisture.
Commonly known as steam carpet cleaning, hot water extraction cleaning use high pressured hot water to agitate the carpet fibre and dissolve dirt in the carpet. An average sized carpeted office of 3000 sq ft would normally take about 2 hours to clean and will take at least 4 hours to dry.
Ultimately, running your vacuum over your carpets after a professional deep clean is great but remember to do it only after your carpet is completely dry. Vacuuming your carpet when it`s still damp could cause dirt to be transferred from your vacuum cleaner, so patience does pay off.

This was my grandmothers machine and when she passed there was no owners manual so I am not sure how to use the settings on it or oil it properly. I so want to use it cause it was hers but don’t want to mess up the machine. She never even got a chance to use it before she passed away. I just have no owners manual. No problem I just need a manual. I bought the bissell from lowes and it was a floor model. They did not have the manual with the directions on how to use the machine. I purchased my Bissel PowerSteamer Clearview a few years or so ago, and cannot find where I filed the manuals. If I find the actual seriel number on the Bissel PowerSteamer Clearview, Is there a way that I can purchase another manual? I really do not have any problem with my Bissel, but being I am 75 years of age and do not use it myself anymore, I want to give it to a daughter of mine (but I would like to have the manuals that go with it to give to her also).

When I was putting my new rug shampooer together and the directions said to press the trigger and the clean surge button until I heard a snap, I did just that many times and never did hear a snap so I thought it had likely happened and I didn’t hear it so I proceeded to fill the solution tank and get busy but no solution came out so I used the clean surge button instead and got the job done (I think). Can I continue to use it that way or is there a way I can get it to snap and use it the way it
