The automatic cleaning happens always due to the scheduled settings. If RoboVac starts cleaning without a schedule, please check if the schedule cleaning button has been pressed accidentally and whether there is a schedule icon on the display.

It is possible a part of roomba`s memory became corrupt and indicates there is a valid schedule. Pulling the battery will erase the memory.
They may be dirty or corroded and need cleaning. You can water them while they`re still wet and then wipe them dry with a paper towel or cloth. If this doesn`t help, try replacing the battery yourself! If your Roomba is making noise while charging, it could be because of the battery.
Error five (5) means the left wheel cannot turn. Please check the following: If Roomba® is stuck under an obstacle, move it to a new location and press CLEAN to restart. Use Dual Mode Virtual Wall® Barriers to block off problem areas.

Factory reset on a Wi-Fi Connected Roomba® and Braava jet®
