Turn the unit on to activate the suction. Press the front of SpotLifter PowerBrush firmly against surface to vacuum the spill. Press the Manual Trigger Spray to apply the cleaning solution. Press the front of the SpotLifter PowerBrush firmly against the surface to vacuum the cleaning solution.
Remove Solution Tank by grasping the indentations with thumb and finger firmly, and pulling it straight up. Open the Tank by unscrewing and removing the cap. Add BISSELL Little Green formula to the indicated “Formula” line on Tank. NOTE: Your Spot Lifter is shipped with starter bottle of formula.
Tip: After unit is charged (approximately 12 hours) unplug from outlet. This will aid in prolonging the life of the battery.
To power on the machine, step on the red Power Switch Pedal located on the back of the vacuum by the bottom. If there is still no power, unplug your machine from the wall. Check the entire length of the power cord, and discontinue use if there is any damage.
Use the Phillips head screwdriver to remove the screw from the carry handle on the back of the machine. Then, from each side of the machine, pull the carry handle towards you to pop it off the machine. You will then use your Flathead screwdriver to pry the small clip outward and pull up on the handle to remove it.
The battery status indicator lights will illuminate when charging. For maximum run time, charge the unit for 4 hours prior to use. You`ll know your SpinWave® Cordless is fully charged when all three lights are illuminated.
We recommend cleaning the same area once with the trigger pressed down, and once with your hand off the trigger. This way, you are spraying the solution into the carpet and then allowing extra suction to pull it up. The brush rolls are scrubbing out the dirt and stains the entire time.

A possible cause might be that the tank is not properly seated. To assure the tank is seated properly, pick it up and re-seat is so it sits snugly on the unit. If this doesn`t fix the problem, make sure the tank is assembled properly. To make sure they are both latched properly, pick the tank up by its handle.
You may have stalled the brush motor. To reset, turn off and unplug, then plug back in and turn on. The brush roll may have lodged debris or other entanglements keeping the brush from rotating. To fix, you`ll need to remove the brush roll to inspect.
Turn on your machine by pressing the power button on the left side of the frame.

My model F5906-900 — problem is the brushes have stoped working… I pulled the brush assembly out by holding the two tabs, and all seems clean and the brush assembly rotates easly… onced the brush assembly is removed. ANSWER : (1) Assure the Brush Control on the hood is NOT set to the OFF position.
.(2) Remove the brush assembly by pulling/unlatching it from base on each side.
.(3) Does one of the brushes have the drive pin present? It should be about ¼ inch square, and two inches long. It attaches the brushes to the drive mechanism.
.(4) Remove and clean the intake filter. One the base of the cleaner, behind the brushes, squeeze the two red abs together and pull the panel down to access the screen. Clean the hair/debris off the screen and reassemble.

Hello, I just bought a Bissell Powergroom (model 92L3-W) vacuum and a Bissell Proheat Pet (model 8910-3) deep cleaner and I love them both. My problem is, when we unpacked them we somehow lost the manuals; I think I had too many helpers that night – they may have gone out to the trash with the boxes. Electrolux vacuum brush not turning problem:
was vacuuming and rug got caught auto shut off kicked off power to brush. instead of hitting red button to restart brush I disconnected brush to vacuum some hair in Conner. after i reconnected the brush and hit the red button but no power to brush. Light won’t even switch on. Hope you can help
ANSWER : Under the vacuum, there is a guard..remove the guard , either by 2 screws or by 2 clips..there is a belt under the guard..that is connected to the brush..the belt need to be replaced.

I purchased my Bissel PowerSteamer Clearview a few years or so ago, and cannot find where I filed the manuals. If I find the actual seriel number on the Bissel PowerSteamer Clearview, Is there a way that I can purchase another manual? I really do not have any problem with my Bissel, but being I am 75 years of age and do not use it myself anymore, I want to give it to a daughter of mine (but I would like to have the manuals that go with it to give to her also).
