As soon as Deluxe Enviro Steamer emits steam, begin using it, passing slowly over the surfaces to be cleaned. This is the ideal method for thoroughly cleaning your floor. To disinfect specific areas of the floor, leave the steamer over the spot for a minimum of eight seconds, but no more than 15 seconds.
How Steam Cleaners Work. Water is heated past the boiling point and forced out as pressurized steam through a nozzle, brush, or other attachment. The vapor loosens dirt and kills dust mites, mold, staph, and other allergens and harmful bacteria. No suction is required, since the high-heat moisture dries quickly.
Although some carpet steamers and cleaners have a suction mechanism to remove the cleaning fluid and water from your carpet after cleaning the area, you should only use them for steaming or cleaning a carpet and never use them like a vacuum cleaner.
What can`t I steam clean? Steam can warp unsealed floors, melt plastic, and cause laminate floors to swell. Don`t steam clean these surfaces. Other surfaces on the do-not-clean list: cold windows, unglazed tile, those covered in water-based paint, and delicate surfaces.
With high heat and high pressure, steaming your clothing and surfaces could eliminate up to 99.9 percent of household germs and odors.
During the washing phase: If added while the machine mixes the detergent with the water, the steam increases the temperature of the wash tub to improve the cleaning power, which also helps to activate the detergent. It does this by dissolving the detergent more effectively, to get the most out of it as possible.
While steam dryers can function like a normal dryer without a water hookup, you won`t be able to use their steam features without one.
First, check to make sure the unit is plugged in and is in a working outlet. Next, check to make sure there is water in the tank. It is very important to make sure you are ONLY using water to fill the tank. Other solutions may cause breakdown of the gasket and/or other parts of the machine.
Steam cleaning is better than traditional mopping in some ways. You`ll get a deeper clean with a steam mop because the high temperature of the steam actually sanitizes your floors—something a traditional mop can`t do without the use of chemicals.
Most cottons, silks, wools and polyesters can be steamed. Waxed jackets, suede and materials that could possibly melt, like plastic, should not be steamed. If you are unsure about a material, check fabric care labels for advice.

Hello, I just bought a Bissell Powergroom (model 92L3-W) vacuum and a Bissell Proheat Pet (model 8910-3) deep cleaner and I love them both.
