Our Smartset technology automatically sets your clock to the correct Year, Month, Day and Time as soon as you plug it in. Just select your time zone and the built-in computer does everything else for you immediately.
Smartset. Emerson Radio pioneered the Smartset clock radio which automatically sets itself with the correct time and date using a battery back-up oscillator time base to accurately set the clock`s time when the alarm clock is powered-on and after a power outage.
The instructions are super simple and takes just a second to do. just simply hold down the alarm button and use the hour and minute key to set the alarm time. It also has a dual alarm setting so you can set two different alarm times without having to reset each time. The clock itself self sets to your time zone.
Pressing the AL1 or AL2 button to change the wake-up signal from buzzer (bell icon appears on front in upper left corner) to radio (music icon appears on front) to off completely (no icon on front). Example: The bell icon is visible in the upper left corner on the clock face, and the alarm sounds at the appointed time.
Emerson Radio Corp., founded in 1948, is one of the nations oldest consumer electronics distributors with a recognized trademark in continuous use since 1912.

A smart alarm clock is essentially a smart speaker — like an Amazon Echo or a Sonos One — but one that`s specially designed with extra privacy features so that it can live in your bedroom. It typically doesn`t have a camera (but if it does, you can shut it off). Its mics can be turned off, too.

ANSWER : .Directions for Resetting the Daylight Savings Time (DST) Start & End Dates on the Emerson Research Smartset Dual Alarm Clock Radio (cks5055s):
.
.- This should work for all Smartsets, but I cannot make the guarantee (and no, I don’t have any other directions, sorry)!
.
- Adjusting the DST Start Date on an Emerson Research Smartset:.
.- Depress & hold the MONTH/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons (at the same time). After 3 seconds the display will show the DST ‘start’ month, week, and date. It should be alternately showing “4 F” (April and first week week) and “4. 1”.
.
- While still holding the MONT/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons, press the DOWN (or “-“) button 3 times, until the display is showing “3” (March) and the week as “F2”. It should alternately flash “3 F2” and “3. 11”.
.
- After this is set, the clock should “automatically” reset itself
.
- Adjusting the DST End Date on an Emerson Research Smartset:.
.- Depress & hold the MONTH/DATE and the ALARM2 buttons (at the same time). After 3 seconds the display will show the DST ‘end’ month, week, and date. It should be alternately showing “10 L” (October and last week week) and “10. 28”.
.
- While still holding the MONT/DATE and the ALARM1 buttons, press the UP (or “+”) button 1 time, until the display is showing “11” (November) and the week as “F”. It should alternately flash “11 F” and “11. 4”.
.
- After this is set, the clock should “automatically” reset itself
.
One thing to note, if you ever have to change the lithium backup battery for the Smartset clocks, it will revert back to it’s factory defaults and you’ll have to go through his all over again.

I do not have my users manual and have never vacuumed wet with this vacuum. How do I change it from a dry to wet vacuum.
Can’t find my manual and I need to use the shop vac for water in basement, do I have to change the filter or what
lost my user manual never used it to pick up water. need to know how to puit it in wet mode i want to clean the dirty water out of my pool.
ANSWER : .Vacuuming Liquids
.1. When picking up small amounts of liquid
.the filter may be left in place.
.2. When picking up large amounts of liquid
.we recommend that the filter be
.removed. If the filter is not removed, it
.will become saturated and misting
.may appear in the exhaust.
.3. After using the vac to pick up liquids,
.the filter must be dried to reduce the
.risk of possible mildew and damage to
.the filter.
.4. When the liquid in the drum reaches a
.predetermined level, the float mechanism
.will rise automatically to cut off
.airflow. When this happens, turn off
.the vac, unplug the power cord, and
.empty the drum. You will know that the
.float has risen because vac airflow
.ceases and the motor noise will
.become higher in pitch, due to
.increased motor speed.
.IMPORTANT: To reduce the risk of damage
.to the vac do not run motor with float
.in raised position
