My suggestion is that you contact the Kirby Co in Cleveland listed below and they will instruct you either to down load a owner’s manual or they will mail one out to you, there might be a local Kirby dealer in your area that might have a manual as well. It’s been awhile since I have used my shampoo system on my Ultimate G series Kirby. Well, as instructed I took it apart and cleaned it. Now I can?t figure out where to put the ?screen cap? and ?sponge filter?. I have my manual in front of me and the only place it shows the filter and sponge (page 35 in the manual) is when it?s been taken apart to clean. It doesn?t show where to put it back. New Kirby I own the new Kirby Ultimate Diamond Edition..G Series and the brushes are running OK and everything but it seems to be blowing things out and not picking them up. Can you help me. My serial number if 7051201028
ANSWER : Is the bag emptor all of the way on? It will blow out if it isn’t, But being new, you must have a number to call, it is under warranty so they should be able to help you out.

I have a kirby G7D model ultimate g, the diamond edition. i took the brush part off , and used the attachments, i put the brush back on, and now it wont turn on.
ANSWER : Did you happen to hit the N/D switch by accident on the bottom. The switch has to be in D to run.

Green light on power nozzle of Kirby vacuum, Model G7D
ANSWER : The green light is just to inform you that the brushroll is spinning. there is a magnet on the brushroll that makes the green light come on every time it rotates. also why it looks like the light flickers because the magnet only makes contact once per rotation of your brushroll.
