Check for a plugged hose:
Plugged vacuum hoses are sometimes the reason for a loss in suction. Hoses can get clogged with hair, dust bunnies, string, or anything else that can`t pass through the other end of the hose. Airways inside the machine should be looked at as well. Wherever there is an air passage, check it.
Hold the floor tool as best as you can using your foot and twist the metal pipe.. this should `break the bond`. As soon as you have movement after twisting the pipe, you should find that it pulls free.
Just use a screwdriver to turn the screw counterclockwise to loosen the clamp, slip the clamp over the hose, slip the end of the new hose in place, and turn the screw clockwise to tighten the clamp. Easy!

My combination floor tool was blocked i unscrewed it and there is 2 springs and i dont know where they go can you help

I suggest be careful while you do this and also careful about small parts of the cleaner. First Turn the vacuum cleaner off and unplug from the electrical socket. Remove accessory from the hose/handle tube. Carefully remove the blockage and return to the cleaner. You can use a pair of scissors to cut through any threads or hairs caught around the Tool brush bar..
I just got this euro pro shark steam mop. I dont have a manual for it so i dont know much about it. I put water in it and it heats up but when you start to use it. It makes a gurgling kind of sound and steam comes out, but not very much i dont think and on the floor you can't hardly tell where you went over the floor at cuz it's not very wet at all. So is it suppose to make a gurgling sound and should'nt the floor be alittle wetter?

Miele, Flamenco II. 2 probs. 1. the head brush is not turning when I put it on the floor. If I pick it up to look inside…the brush is spinning fast..I put it down on the floor…the head does not spin at all. 2. The suction power has dropped significantly. The suction used to be so intense, the head would **** itself to my floor and hold on…now, hardly any suction at all.
ANSWER : Sounds like the belt is not on correctly on the beater brush or the belt is worned out now for the suction check filters or bags that need to be empty or clean
Flap My floor/ tools knob won’t turn. The knob controls wheather you are going to use tools to shampoo furniture of floors. The flap and knob will not trurn
ANSWER : Most likely the diverter valve is broken part #2136988. You will have to remove the top to replace it.
Can you advise which setting should be used on different floors, ie hard floors and carpets, theres 2 different settings and I don’t know which setting should be used on the different floors
ANSWER : Turn the machine on and look at the bottom. Turn to the two settings. The setting that stops the platten wheel from moving is for hard wood floors. If you cant tell, then setting 1 is most likely for carpets and 2 is for hard wood floors. Your machine is primarily a carpet vacuum cleaner, so 1 should be for carpets.
I recently ( approx. 2-3 months ago ) purchased a dirt devil. Now it is not picking up properly. When I push vacuum forward it picks dirt up a little bit, when I pull it back all the dirt falls out of the bottom. I replaced the filter today and it has not solved my problem. I dont know where my warranty is. Can you please help me?
ANSWER : Hi sounds like your line is stopped up somewhere , check ur suction an make sure your brushes are spinning, if they are try a wire clothes hanger to the hose at the bottom hose to dislodge anything that mite be stuck
D.d vaccum i have a dirt devil dynamite…i bought a new for it i put it on and not even 1 minute of using it the belt broke again!!!!i dont know whats going on do i have 2 put it on a certain way does it need grease or what!
ANSWER : Did you check the brush roll, if the ends aren’t turning freely, then it needs to be replaced also.
I HAVE A BISSELL PROHEAT CARPET CLEANER 7920 I DISSEMBLY IT TO CLEAN IT. I DON’T KNOW IF I PUT THE HOSES BACK IN THE RIGHT LOCATION BECAUSE AFTER I PUT IT BACK TOGETHER IT’S LEAKING WATER ALL OVER THE FLOOR BUT IT WILL RECOVER THE WATER FROM THE FLOOR AND THE SOLUTION WON’T SPARY OUT I THINK THE HOSES ARE NOT IN THEIR RIGHT LOCATION TO STOP THE FLOW WHEN IT’S NOT SUPPOSE TO BE COMING OUT CONSTANTLY HELP PLEASE IS THEIR A HOSE DIAGRAM FOR THE HOSES INSIDE THE CARPET CLEANER
