How to Identify and Fix Common Vacuum Problems ?
Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced Vacuum Technicians :
While you might feel that this is the reason their products are expensive, you`re highly mistaken. This investment was mainly to accommodate a centre for their 1,200 employees, 22 laboratories, prototyping space, and areas for collaborative work.
Soil and plant debris can clog a vacuum, and damp or wet leaves can lead to mold in the bag or canister, so it`s best to use a broom or your hands to pick those up.
Air-cleaning machines such as air purifiers, air scrubbers and blowers are designed to draw in construction dust from the air surrounding these devices and remove them from the area, leaving only fresh, clean air in the area.

Our machines are designed and tested for standard domestic use only, and we do advise against using them to clean up large quantities of fine powders, such as plaster dust.
It’s possible that if the plaster dust has damaged the filter, replacing this will improve performance. However, I’d encourage you to get in touch with us directly before ordering a replacement – our experts will take you through some quick troubleshooting checks just to make sure that a new filter will resolve the issue.
You can reach our freephone customer Helpline on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1-866-693-9766 (US). Please have your machine to hand when you call.

.Dust….dust….dust
.Posted by Kitkatman on Jun 11, 2008
.Hello,
I recently bought a house with an older Electrolux Central Vac system. I’m unfamiliar with them, so I’m not sure how to deal with this: I cleaned up some mortar dust with it, and noticed not too long after that when I went into the garage, there was a fog of dust. The hose from the unit is venting into the garage. Is this normal? I have since used it for everyday household cleaning and each time I go back to the garage to a cloud of dust. Is there anything I can do? Thanks
.
.Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. It sounds to me that the unit you have may have to be vented outside as I am not familiar with this particular unit, or it could very well be that it is missing a filter or the filter you have inside already is shot and is in need of replacement or on some central vacs there are paper filter that go over the cloth type filter. Again, I am not familiar with this older unit but feel free to contact the Electrolux Factory or Manufacturer and give them the model # and the serial # for the unit and they will have a breakdown of if it should be vented and what type of filtration it should be using. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

I have cleaned & cleaned this thing! It runs for about 2 mins & stops, says “Clean Brushes”! and now it’s very noticeable it’s not picking up well… but is picking up a bit. I take the dust bin out, and the brushes spin…. and it has much more power…. and is very clear it is working! But it’s useless without the dust bin! LOL It’s only 9 months old…. called customer service, but it was the one time it worked just fine! Of course, I thought I’
If the brushes work , without the bin, the problem , the problem could be caused , due the failure at the bin lock mechanism. There is a sensor that checks if the BIN is connected properly or not. This problem is best resolved by getting the same replaced .

.I believe all the DYSONs come with the option of both motors and you cannot really tell which motor you have until you take the thing to bits. You also cannot change motors without changing various other parts on the hoover. On my DC 05 the writing on the YDK motor tells you which one it is.
.This website www. tasweb.org ,select the DC 05 option and scroll down tells you how to take the thing to bits. A search on google etc for your DC 07 may give similar results. Best of luck!
