This green light is an indication to a flat battery. See the screenshot.
If your dyson vacuum isn`t turning on, don`t panic – there are a couple possible causes. It could simply be that the vacuum overheated and shut itself off. If that is the case, wait 24 hours and turn it back on. However, another problem with dysons are failed power switches.
Over time, all batteries are subject to degradation. So if your run time has declined when the machine is not in Max / Boost mode, it might be time to buy a new battery. All our machines come with a 2-year initial warranty that includes the battery.
To reset the Brush bar press the Brush bar control button twice or switch the machine off and back on.
The Dyson Gen5™, V15 Detect™, and Dyson V12 Detect Slim™ have a illumination cleaner head. These cordless vacuums feature a green light that illuminates dust and particles in your home.
Understanding the lights on your Dyson V6™

The LED lights on your vacuum indicate the current status of your machine and battery. No light indicates the battery is fully charged. A solid blue light indicates that the battery is charging. Flashing blue light indicates that the battery is not charging.

To reset the machine, turn the power off (using either the power button on the remote or the Main body), wait 60 seconds and then turn back on.
Check that the vacuum cleaner is plugged into a working power outlet and that fuses and breakers don`t need resetting. An activated thermal cut-out due to a blockage is the next most likely cause of the problem. Check for blockages in the hose and filters, and remove any obstructions that you find.
When using your vacuum, with the trigger pressed – Battery light. A solid blue light indicates that the machine is in normal operating mode. Summary. Dyson batteries should last around 2-6 years before needing to be replaced. This wide range reflects the fact that how you care for and maintain the battery will affect how long it lasts. If you want your vacuum`s battery to last longer, make sure it`s stored at room temperature.

There may be blockages in the wand or main body creating a weak suction. Detach the main body and the cleaner head from the wand to separately examine them for any obstructions. Looking through both ends of the wand, check for any light coming through and if none is present, a blockage may need to be removed.
According to Dyson the slow green flashing light means the battery is dead or not charging but the 22.2 V battery has 20 V of charge.
Green denotes a high air quality, with low pollutants, and red, low air quality with a high amount of pollutants. Different categories can have different levels of pollutants at the same time, and will therefore display in different colours.

The blue LEDs – one on each side of the battery – will flash on and off during charging. When the battery is charged, both LEDs will light for 5 seconds, then go out. The screen will also show the battery charge level at 100%. The machine can take up to 4.5 hours to fully charge.
A flashing light indicates that there is something wrong with your device and this may lead your vacuum to turn off. To fix this please refer to the “Machine Displays an LED Light” section with or call Dyson for additional help: 1 (844) 679-1647.

A strong odor from the shellac that coats the copper coil windings is an indicator that the motor is about to or has burnt out. If the motor is still running, even if it turns on and off by itself as it is heating and cooling, you can still run the motor until it gives up for good.
Clog located in the vacuum hose

Turn the unit on and feel the suction at the end of the hose handle. If there is no or low suction, then the clog is in the hose. You can remove the clog by running a long, stiff object through the hose, such as a butter knife, starting at the wall end.

I have a Roomba 560 (it’s still in warranty !!) and, after my summer vacation, it has a problem.
When I’m charging Roomba, the orange light blinks (and this is normal!) but this orange blinking continues forever…. the light doesn’t change to green.
If I detach Roomba from the charger, the light become green and it works normally until the light changes to red and I have to charge it again.

WHY, DURING THE CHARGING PHASE, THE LIGHT DOESN’T CHANGE FROM ORANGE-BLINKING TO GREEN?

HAVE I

ANSWER : The problem is not with the charger itself but it is with the battery inside the Roomba. It sunds like one or more of the cells has gone bad so its not holding the same charge as it did. I would recomend sending it in while the warranty is still valid so they will replace it. Your charger and the Roomba itself should be fine.

A few tips to keep the battery working longer:
Only charge the battery when it is drained all the way to zero. It will help keep the battery active.

If we turn the water on it fills up the space under the ice basket. I keep getting red light and then the two smal llight one ice and one water come on. We can hear the motor trying to fill the ice try and then lights come on. Please help me this so I can use this product. It did not come with a manual.
ANSWER : The water inlet valve on the back of unit opens when the ice maker needs water. If the valve doesn’t seal good because of sediment or wear it will continue to drip and when the water reaches the ice maker supply tube it will freeze blocking the fill tube.. You can take the water line off the valve and watch to see if it drips.
With the fill tube blocked with ice the water can drip down the back wall or drip into the ice bin or just stop up. You can use a hairdryer to thaw the tube out.
