check the cap of the water tank to make sure it is correctly and securely attached to the water tank. check your water tank to make sure it is securely and correctly fitted in to the body of the garment steamer – incorrect placement of the water tank can block water from feeding in to the body and boiler of the steamer.
First, check to make sure the unit is plugged in and is in a working outlet. Next, check to make sure there is water in the tank. It is very important to make sure you are ONLY using water to fill the tank. Other solutions may cause breakdown of the gasket and/or other parts of the machine.
The water level in the tank is too low ==> Unplug the appliance and fill the tank. The pump is unprimed ==>Press and hold the steam button for a few seconds to prime the pump. The removable tank is not installed correctly ==> Check the correct positioning of the tank on the product.
Steaming tips

Bring the water to a rolling boil (bubbles all over), and add food (fish, vegetables, meat) to the steamer in a single layer. The steamer should be about 2.5cm above the boiling water, and the steamer should be covered with a tight-fitting lid to retain the heat.

If left unchecked, the steamer could overheat and stop working entirely.
Steam is running in the background

Sometimes Steam doesn`t close properly, so when you are trying to start it, it won`t open because it already is open. To fix this, you just have to open your Task Manager and look for Steam in “Processes”. If you found it, just right-click it and select “end task”.

Some steam cleaners come with descaling agents. In addition, there are a variety of descalers out there for use in steam cleaners, humidifiers, and other home appliances where water is vaporized. Whether you are using a descaler you purchased or making your own from simple baking soda and water, cleaning is the same.
Descale your machine – it`s no secret that water contains minerals, which can be left behind (in the form of limescale) in your steam cleaner`s boiler tank and hinder the performance of the appliance.
This can be due to: Trying to use steam before the iron is hot enough. Depending on the model of generator, when ironing on a low temperature, decrease the steam output by adjusting the steam output dial on the control panel. Wait for the iron temperature control light to go out before ironing.
Plug the steamer in. Steamers usually heat up fairly quickly (2-3 minutes). Allow your steamer to heat until steam begins to form. Be sure to let your steamer warm up all of the way to get the best results.
Once the water reaches about 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the steaming process begins. Water boils at 212 degrees Fahrenheit, so the highest temperature the food cooks is at 212 degrees. You only need two simple pieces of equipment to steam food on the stove top: a pot and a steamer basket.
Plug the steamer in. Steamers usually heat up fairly quickly (2-3 minutes). Allow your steamer to heat until steam begins to form. Be sure to let your steamer warm up all of the way to get the best results.
Due to the heat, there is a risk of dehydrating the body, and it is advisable not to spend longer than 10 minutes inside. It is also important to drink plenty of water beforehand. A steam room also provides the ideal environment for certain bacteria and germs to grow and spread.
Since the steam cleaner is used to clean a variety of hard surfaces, debris or residue can clog the steam nozzle and block the steam from exiting. Attempting to force the steam cleaner to dispense steam through a blocked nozzle can make the unit overheat, and a burning smell can result.
