My Vax S2 Steam Stick has stopped producing steam

Make sure this is initially set to the highest setting – you can always then reduce the velocity of the steam as you need during use. Ensure that your water tank cap is securely fitted. The cap on most cleaner`s tanks help to maintain the pressure and seal the steam in the unit, so need to be securely fastened.

Whether you are using a descaler you purchased or making your own from simple baking soda and water, cleaning is the same.

Descale your machine – it`s no secret that water contains minerals, which can be left behind (in the form of limescale) in your steam cleaner`s boiler tank and hinder the performance of the appliance.

I have a Euro-Pro Shark Steam Pocket Mop. I used it twice last year, and then it stopped producing steam. Is there any way that I could easily fix this without dangerous chemicals? Everytime I call the company, I can’t get anyone. The unit heats up, but doesn’t produce steam. I’ve tried white vinegar to no avail. Producing steam i just got the shark assembled the mv2010, then it is not doing anything, it vacuumed just fine, but when i put the steam pad on it wouldnt ever produce steam or do anything,it felt like the water was heating up but even after it sat for 20-30 minutes when i pull handle back towards me nothing happens, no lights no steam no nothing, so why wont it work

While using my mop yesterday, it stopped letting steam come out. Tonight I plugged it up again and you could hear it trying to steam. I push the button in to release the square frame and it pushed out a burst of steam and pushed the head off. Put it back together and it still will not let steam out. I got one and it wouldn’t steam, took it back and got another one and it steams for 5 min. then stops. If I unplug and cool down it will steam again for 5 min. and stop. very frustrating. I hear very good things from friends and theirs works fine.

I loved my Shark Steam Pocket Mop, but it suddenly stopped producing steam through the mop heads. The water is heating and I can see and hear steam coming out of the actually body of the mop, but it will not go through to the head. I have thought of running white vinegar through it.
