To prolong the life of your steam mop, we recommend using distilled water in the tank. Make sure you only add water to the tank – chemicals or cleaning solutions (including vinegar) may damage the steam mop and could be unsafe. For best results, sweep or vacuum your floors prior to cleaning with your steam mop.
Just Add Water and Cleaner

Fill the water container with hot water and a bit of cleaning solution; some steam cleaners come with a bottle of detergent, but you can also purchase carpet shampoo or soap at a grocery store.

All steam cleaners work best with distilled water. “I don`t think people realize that you can cause the steamer to stop working if you use the incorrect water,” says Kellsie Zapata, the owner of Zapata`s Cleaning Services. “The minerals in tap water will corrode the inside of your machine.”
Simply soak them in a mixture of laundry detergent, baking soda, and hot water, then scrub them clean and rinse. Don`t clean your floors with a dirty mop head!
The Steam Blaster from Milex is a 1200-watt pressurised handheld steam cleaner that makes residential cleaning chores quick and easy. Steam clean all types of surfaces without the use of harmful chemicals. Ordinary tap water is all you need.
Only fill the tank with water. Cleaning chemicals, scented perfumes, or even vinegar might damage the mop. If your model has a removable water tank, make sure it`s securely snapped back into place before you begin mopping.
Check if the mop is properly plugged into the outlet and turned on. If it is on and still not functioning, try resetting the mop by plugging it into a different outlet. Add water to the tank if it is empty then try selecting the `STEAM` setting once more.
With the exception of a few models that have dual functions, steam mops are typically designed to be used with water and nothing else. The steam alone does a great job of cleaning the floor. Always read the manual on your mop model thoroughly for complete use guidelines.
You only need two simple pieces of equipment to steam food on the stove top: a pot and a steamer basket. The pot is filled with a small amount of liquid that is brought to a simmer; the item to be cooked is placed in a basket suspended above the liquid, and the pot is then covered.
Steam cleaners are a wonderful way to deep-clean many types of surfaces since they don`t use harsh chemicals. Hard surfaces easily cleanable with a steam cleaner include countertops, kitchen & bathroom fixtures, some types of flooring, as well as other impervious surfaces.
Unwrap the power cord from the handle. Remove the 56.0 mm Phillips head #2 screw located above the water tank cap. Pull the handle to separate it from the body.
The method uses a combination of water and heat to effectively clean and sanitize* sealed hard floors and a variety of hard surfaces all around your home. And because it only involves water, steam cleaning is 100% chemical-free.

I can’t get my shark steam blaster model EP95 to create steam?
ANSWER : Pull the (3) coasters/feet out and unscrew the 3 screws. take off the one end of the steam”boiler” (two clamps). tilt open end up and pour white vinegar [carefully] in there, prop up so it does not fall over, and soak overnight. dump out lime and water scale and rinse out a couple of times. Be very careful to not get water on electrical parts.
Take an air pig and blow out the line (Black) from where you disattached it to where the steam comes out [at the handle]. Be sure to mark electrical connections [4 on one, 2 on the other] so you don’t blow a breaker switch like I did.

Shark Steam Mop – Gray/ Purple Vacuum: shark steam mop has water, but there is no steam….
ANSWER : I tried running vinegar through as you would a coffee pot to get rid of hard water scales. This did not work. Then I noticed that the light behind the shark decal on the front of the machine was going off and on. And sure enough as I moved the cord around the light would come off and on. Looking closer I could see the the heat had melted thru some of the cord.I bought mine at Target before xmas last year, throwing away the sales slip after several months so I guess there is nothing I can do about it.
