SteamVac™ Deep Cleaner cleans carpet fibers by applying hot tap water and cleaning solution. This HOOVER deep cleaner is designed for deep cleaning carpet, rugs, carpeted stairs and upholstery. The model and serial numbers are located on the data label on the back of the handle.
The serial number is a unique number issued by the certificate issuer, which is also called the Certificate Authority (CA).
When you use a vacuum cleaner without a HEPA filter, these particles are stirred up and put back out into the air through your vacuum`s exhaust. Regular filters can`t remove these harmful particulates and this puts the people in your home at risk.
Rinse the filter
Any fine dust remaining in the filter can usually be removed with a gentle rinse under a cold tap – hold the filter under the running water until the water runs clear. You shouldn`t need to use any detergent – just water.
It is obtained by measuring how many inches up a tube the vacuum motor`s intake can pull up, or lift, the water. For the Water Lift test, there is no air moving through the motor. It is a sealed suction measurement to find the pure suction force of the motor.
Attachments are quite easy to clean – just fill a sink or bucket with warm water and about a teaspoon of dish soap and drop them in. For any attachment that has hair stuck in it, you can use your cleaning toothbrush to brush it away.
Use the dust brush attachment – close the blind slats so they lie flat and vacuum. Reverse the blinds so that the slats are lying the other way and repeat. Repeat monthly or as needed. Use the upholstery attachment on mattresses and fabric surfaces.
The spinning brush has bristles that should be used on carpeting because the motion of the brush loosens up dirt and debris that can get caught in carpeting. The brush makes it easier for the suction power of the vacuum to put them dirt into the bag and off the floor.
Use your vacuum cleaner`s crevice tool to get into tight corners, and the upholstery attachment or soft brush attachment for the couch`s surfaces. Lift each cushion up to reveal the dust and crumbs underneath. If you`re not doing a deep clean, this is a great time to simply rotate your cushions.
Well, carpet cleaning involves cleaning carpets made of wool or another natural fiber, while upholstery cleaning refers to cleaning a piece of furniture`s fabric. Upholstery is primarily made of synthetic materials, such as polyester, nylon, or acrylic.
DIY carpet cleaner (for machines): 1/4 C vinegar + 4 Tbsp dish soap + 4 Tbsp fabric softener + 1/4 C hydrogen peroxide. Stir gently, then add mixture to an almost full gallon of very warm water. Then slowly add warm water to top it off. Gently tip the jug back & forth to mix (avoid suds and bubbles).
