All vacuum cleaners operate based on air flowing from the opening at the cleaning head or tool, through the vacuum cleaner and the bag and/or filter system and then out the exhaust port. This airflow is created by the vacuum motor, which also may be referred to as the suction motor.
Hello, No you don`t need to hold the power button that was the big difference with the V-12. The only thing that`s disappointing about the V-12 is the trash canister.
Using the Triggerhead floor tool
There is no need to turn the Brush bar on and off for different floor types, the floor tool has a row of anti-static carbon fibre filaments to remove fine dust from hard floors, and stiff nylon brushes remove ground-in dirt from carpets.
Dyson V7 Trigger Handheld Vacuum is powered by the Dyson V7 digital motor for the most powerful suction of any handheld vacuum. Provides up to 30 minutes of fade-free suction. Ergonomic design fits naturally into the shape of your hand for a comfortable fit.
The V10 offers incredible power, flawless performance across all surfaces, and most importantly, a much better battery than the V8, making it our top recommendation. Big machine suction power. But with cord-free versatility.
No you cannot lock the trigger, that would make too much sense. And Dyson rather spend money on advertising, instead of making their vacuums better.
Max(4000 PA): It can deeply clean the place that needs cleaning, dust cleaning is up 80%, garbage collection is up 30%, and the cleaning times are up to 80 minutes.
The two main indicators to determine vacuum power performance are water lift and airflow. The water lift is measured in mmH2O, mbar or kPa. It represents the suction force and is the reference parameter for vacuuming liquids and heavy materials. The airflow is measured in m3/h or in l/s.
The Dyson V12 is a very good option for pet owners. It easily clears away pet hair on a wide variety of floor types and has a miniature turbo brush tool that`s impressively effective in lifting pet hair from upholstered surfaces.

Battery life always raises most concerns with these cordless vacuums. The V12 manages just under one hour in Eco mode, around 35 minutes in Auto or Medium mode, and just over 6 minutes in Boost mode.
Instead of a brush bar with bristles, the soft roller cleaner head uses a roller to capture dust and debris at the same time. Gentle on hard floors, tough on dirt. Soft woven nylon envelops debris, while anti-static carbon fiber filaments remove fine dust from hard floors.
The purpose of a vacuum cleaner clutch is to stop the brushroll from the motor when the machine is upright preventing damage. If you`ve never replaced the clutch on your Dyson before, follow our advice below to get your problem swiftly sorted.
No More Finger Pain: This trigger lock is compact and lightweight, with no extra burden on the vacuum cleaner. By installing it on the power button of the cordless vacuum, it allows you to use the vacuum cleaner effortlessly and conveniently, without having to hold the button while vacuuming.
Hot environments speed up battery aging. So it`s best to avoid cleaning the car in hot weather or leaving your vacuum in rooms that experience direct sunlight for prolonged periods. The same goes for cold porches and garages in winter.
Sometimes your vacuum pulsates on and off or keeps dying when using the extra powerful `Max Mode`, which can be related to the charge of your battery. Try turning this function off by pressing the Max button on your vacuum.

This is from the prongs not making a good connection causing an arch inside the plugg causing what looks like rust on the plugg. I would try snugging up the connection by squeezing the female section to get a better connection on the prongs when it is plugged in together.
Power head attachment works great when plugged into the hose part of the vacuum. The problem is when I attach it to the tube for normal use there is no power. I have checked all the connections and switched the power switch on and off still no power from tube to power head.
Is there anything else I can try? Model Callisto
Try having someone turn the machine on and off while you pull the cord in and out with the cord more angled towards the on/off switch. Sometimes these models have a break in the cord rewind and will not put the power through to the motor.
Keep in mind this is repairable, and if the unit is less than 5 years old it should still be under warranty.
Good luck .
The motor on my Epic 6500 works, the hose is sucking, but the power head isn;t working… I tried the sidestep power head and that one works. Ive opened and replaced the belt and that is fine. The bulb was already burned out and wasn’t replaced so I cant tell if theres power to the head. What else could it be?
Connect the power nozzle directly to the hose and try.
.Check the terminals where the wand connects to the PN. If any are discolored or cracked, that may be the problem.
.Open the PN and check for loose or broken wires and connections. Repair or replace as necessary.
.The reset switch could be broken or worn out. You can check this with a continuity tester or multimeter.
.If none of these solve the problem the vacuum needs to be taken to your local Aerus Electrolux store for diagnosis and repair.
Our Electrolux canister vacuum just stopped working when we were vacuuming the floor. The power does come on when the power head is attached but as soon as the power head is removed the power shuts off. I tried pressing the reset button but that doesn’t help. Water is not being discharged. I have filled the reservoir that holds the carpet cleaner fluid And I have filled the water container. I know how to use the cleaner, it has always worked, But now, no water is being discharged to the carpet. I turn it on, squeeze the trigger, but nothing comes out. The wheel that is suppose to spin (to indicate that water is being discharged) is not spinning. Everything else works. I.e. the suction works, and the hand held accessories work.
