AC Adapter Specifications: Input: worldwide 100-240V 50/60HZ Output: 22.5V 1.25A 9.8Ft Power Cord enough to use and longer than original. Power cord resistance to bending, not easily damaged.
14V power supply. the Roomba serial input (RXD) working from 0 to 5V. the Roomba serial output (TXD) working from 0 to 5V. a (BRC) signal used to maintain the Roomba awake and to change transmission speed.
The typical range of Pa for a regular robot vacuum cleaner is around 2500 to 3000 Pa. The higher the value of Pa, the greater the force lifting the debris off the floor.
A: I purchased roomba980 in amazon.com in U.S a couple days ago, and checked power voltage range, its 100-240v, 50/60hz. you would need different type of cable for each region but charger will work for most of the countries.
Depending on the region, AC input can be 110/120V or 220/240V. To make it easier for users to choose an AC adapter, manufacturers usually offer adapters that support both voltages. Dual voltage adapters have listed input AC voltage ranges of 110 – 220VAC or 100 – 240VAC.

The robot only plugs into a 120v outlet, if you`d like to use your robot on a 220v then you would need a 220v splitter.

The actual wattage of the Roomba while in operation doesn`t seem to be printed anywhere. Yes, the charger/dock is definitely dual voltage.
It is a constant current supply. It supplies 1.2A at up to 22 volts. If you use a power supply that supplies more than 1.2 amps, the Roomba will stop charging with charging error 2. The roomba does measure the charge current and stops charging with that error if it is too high.
An upright vacuum cleaner should be around 100 air watts and a cylinder vacuum cleaner needs to be about 220 air watts.
Most appliances and electronics can operate at either 220V or 240V, depending on their design. However, you should always check the device`s information before plugging it in to ensure you don`t damage it by using the incorrect voltage.

Roomba 595 Battery for iRobot Vacuums

This Roomba 595 battery is rated 51.8 Wh, 14.8 volts and 3500 mAh. Your Roomba will usually run for 60 to 90 minutes on a full charge.

It`s recommended you plug the base into the wall, although a power strip is generally fine. You don`t want to use an extension cord, however.
The main sources of electrical power for robots are batteries. The type of battery that is used for a robot varies depending on the safety, life cycle, and weight. Lead acid batteries are common, as are silver cadmium batteries.
The robots need power to provide the voltage signals that make the motors turn, the sensors operate and the robot brain to operate. The simplest way of doing so is to use batteries.
Level 2. Level 2 equipment offers higher-rate AC charging through 240V (in residential applications) or 208V (in commercial applications) electrical service, and is common for home, workplace, and public charging.
220-240V 50/60Hz, cable type IEC320-C13.

I purchased a brand new Eureka Pet vacuum, sorry don’t know exact name but it the one that has the self cleaning duster on it. Last night I used the vacuum on my carpet, it was working fine until I accidently sucked up the corner of a scarf that was hanging off a couch. I shut the vacuum off, pulled out the scarf and and resumed vacuuming. Much to my dismay the suction on the vacuum had ceased. Can you tell me if there is a reset button on the vacuum? The vacuum does not appear to be damage
ANSWER : If the motor is running, there should be suction. Possible problems depend on whether it’s a canister or upright and are:
.A clog in the hose, UR or canister. Detach hose. Drop small coin in one end and lift hose causing it to roll out the other. If it does, no clog in hose. Drop same coin into hose opening on power head. If it rolls out, no clog in PN.
.Broken fan blades, UR. Needs to be taken to shop for repair/replacement.
.
.A reset button is for use if the motor isn’t running, so won’t have anything to do with the suction.

Dirt devil vacuum cleaner–trouble vacuuming dirt and pet hair on carpeting –is the problem with the spinning brush which contacts the floor,  not contacting the carpeting??  I thought (when I bought this vacuum) that the aforementioned brush was adjustable to various heights of carpeting.  Sometimes, it seems like nothing is being vacuumed up –unless I have just put a new bag on the vacuum… Do I need or can I replace the spinning brush on the bottom of the vacuum so it kicks up and vacuums
ANSWER : Try replacing the belt. Rubber belts stretch out after about a year.

After charging overnight, Roomba only runs about 25 minutes before shutting down with a red light. At this point the battery measures 15.13 volts ( about 1.26 volts per cell ) My hobby experience is that a ni/cad or ni/mh battery nominal charged voltage is about 1.2 volts per cell, and that the recommended end point voltage should be about 1.0 volts per cell. Seems like the battery is ok, butsome kind of voltage regulator is shutting things down prematurely. Is this happening, and , if so, how ca
ANSWER : Reset the Roomba by removing it from the charger, then holding “spot” and “dock” for about twelve seconds. When you let go, the unit will play an ascending series of notes. Then recharge it overnight. If the run time is still short, give Customer Support a call– be sure to have the Roomba with you when you do.

I do not have my users manual and have never vacuumed wet with this vacuum. How do I change it from a dry to wet vacuum.
Can’t find my manual and I need to use the shop vac for water in basement, do I have to change the filter or what
lost my user manual never used it to pick up water. need to know how to puit it in wet mode i want to clean the dirty water out of my pool.
ANSWER : .Vacuuming Liquids
.1. When picking up small amounts of liquid
.the filter may be left in place.
.2. When picking up large amounts of liquid
.we recommend that the filter be
.removed. If the filter is not removed, it
.will become saturated and misting
.may appear in the exhaust.
.3. After using the vac to pick up liquids,
.the filter must be dried to reduce the
.risk of possible mildew and damage to
.the filter.
.4. When the liquid in the drum reaches a
.predetermined level, the float mechanism
.will rise automatically to cut off
.airflow. When this happens, turn off
.the vac, unplug the power cord, and
.empty the drum. You will know that the
.float has risen because vac airflow
.ceases and the motor noise will
.become higher in pitch, due to
.increased motor speed.
.IMPORTANT: To reduce the risk of damage
.to the vac do not run motor with float
.in raised position

My robot will not charge. Tried multiple resets and new battery from irobot.com (both suggested by Irobot customer service) but got nowhere. The vacuum did work for a short time (until the new partially charged battery ran out). If I bypass the internal charging circuits and charge directly from the charger (with jumpers)
the robot seems to work fine. Unfortunatey, there is no mechanism to turn off the charge cycle, so this is not practical.
ANSWER : Replace the battery charger
