To prolong the life of your steam mop, we recommend using distilled water in the tank. Make sure you only add water to the tank – chemicals or cleaning solutions (including vinegar) may damage the steam mop and could be unsafe. For best results, sweep or vacuum your floors prior to cleaning with your steam mop.
Shark Pocket will not make steam

Check that your water tank is full, if you find it is empty, add water. Also check that the tank is free of any cracks or holes that could cause water to leak, and that the tank is properly seated in the device`s housing.

It is safe to use on many different types of flooring

I used this Shark steam mop on my ceramic kitchen floors, but it is also rated for use on sealed hardwood floors, marble, and stone tile.

Our testing has found that all steam mops remove stains fairly well, with marginal differences, and are likely slightly better than a regular mop and bucket due to the heat and vapour produced by the steam.
Do you use a steam mop to clean your floors? If so, adding a few drops of orange, lemon or lavender essential oil on the steam mop cover will not only disinfect the floors, but make your house smell great in the process!!!
Check to see if there is water in the water tank. If there isn`t, unscrew the water tank cap and use the filling flask to pour distilled water into the tank until it reaches the fill line. Replace the water tank cap and tighten. Power the device on, wait about 30 seconds for the water to heat up, and then try again.
check the cap of the water tank to make sure it is correctly and securely attached to the water tank. check your water tank to make sure it is securely and correctly fitted in to the body of the garment steamer – incorrect placement of the water tank can block water from feeding in to the body and boiler of the steamer.

Fill your mop`s reservoir with water, select your chosen setting, and wait around 30 seconds for your Shark® steam mop to reach temperature. You should then gently pass the cleaning pad of the Shark® Lift-Away™ unit over all the surfaces of your sofa.
And thankfully, it`s a simple process. You can machine wash most mop pads, but they`re also easy to hand wash. Simply soak them in a mixture of laundry detergent, baking soda, and hot water, then scrub them clean and rinse.
You should never attempt to unleash the cleaning power of a Shark® steam mop on a hardwood floor unless the entire floor has been sealed. A range of different sealants – including waxes and resins – are used to create a protective barrier against moisture and other contaminants.
Make the steam cleaning of grouting part of your weekly cleaning schedule, and you should never have to use any form of cleaning agent again. Shark`s steam mops are powerful, mobile and precise, and they`re all you need to keep mildew, grime and soap scum from accumulating on your bathroom and kitchen tiles.
What can`t I steam clean? Steam can warp unsealed floors, melt plastic, and cause laminate floors to swell. Don`t steam clean these surfaces. Other surfaces on the do-not-clean list: cold windows, unglazed tile, those covered in water-based paint, and delicate surfaces.
Steam mopping over a painted surface is risky, even if the paint layer is sealed. The heat from the steam can cause bubbles beneath the paint, which may then peel. Best to avoid steam mopping on all painted floor surfaces.
Fill the Tank With Vinegar

Fill the tank with distilled white vinegar or cleaning vinegar. Avoid using other types of vinegar because they may have sediment that interferes with the cleaning process.

Fill your home with a sumptuous scent whilst you steam clean

Infused with our highly concentrated natural essential oil fragrances, simply pump 2 or 3 squirts into your steam mop/cleaner tank and fill with tap water as normal. Then, as you steam clean, your home will be filled with sumptuous natural scents.

– Can be used as a detergent additive to your water or as a ready to use in place of water. Simply fill your water container on the steam mop or Mix 50ml simply steam detergent with 200ml water or 1 part simply steam with 4 parts water.
Do: Wipe up excess dirt before steaming. Steam mops essentially employ steam to loosen grime, which the mop head then clears away, but there`s no suction element in this appliance. This means that surface dirt will need to be vacuumed or swept up before you begin or you`ll only succeed in pushing dirt across the house.
So, where does the dirt go when you steam clean? Actually, it doesn`t go anywhere. Instead, the heat and vapour of steam cleaning ensure that all the unwanted substances or stains are fully broken down and easy to get rid of.
In addition to cleaning everyday dirt and grime, Shark claims its Steam Pocket Mop sanitizes floors, removing 99.99% of all household germs and bacteria with just the power of steam. Plus, the super-heated steam dries in 30 seconds, so there’s no wait time for your floor to dry.
Not Plugged In

You will notice a blinking blue light on the front of the device when plugged in correctly. If the light fails to come on then try to plug into a different outlet.

Due to the heat, there is a risk of dehydrating the body, and it is advisable not to spend longer than 10 minutes inside. It is also important to drink plenty of water beforehand. A steam room also provides the ideal environment for certain bacteria and germs to grow and spread.
Steam is dangerous, because it is very hot, and can cause significant burns if mishandled. Always open the lid of the pot away from you, and make sure you use hot mitts and turn off the heat before handling the hot pot.

Part needed Need part 22 accessory adapter for Shark Model S 3325 Steam blaster
ANSWER : We need this part , too. If anyone knows the actual part number (as opposed to the manual reference #) I’d love to know. Euro-Pro DOES carry this part, as part of an accessory kit for $20 plus who-knows-what for shipping. It’s highway robbery! They want to gather all your personal info BEFORE they answer your question and then the try to sell you other stuff. I DO NOT want to order anything from them. Any other possibilities? I’m still looking.

I can’t get my shark steam blaster model EP95 to create steam?
ANSWER : Pull the (3) coasters/feet out and unscrew the 3 screws. take off the one end of the steam”boiler” (two clamps). tilt open end up and pour white vinegar [carefully] in there, prop up so it does not fall over, and soak overnight. dump out lime and water scale and rinse out a couple of times. Be very careful to not get water on electrical parts.
Take an air pig and blow out the line (Black) from where you disattached it to where the steam comes out [at the handle]. Be sure to mark electrical connections [4 on one, 2 on the other] so you don’t blow a breaker switch like I did.
