How to Identify and Fix Common Vacuum Problems ?

First, check that the cord is properly connected to the vacuum cleaner (again, this is surprisingly easy to overlook) and that there are no splits in the rubber. If the cord is damaged, it will need immediately repairing or replacing. The on/off switch can break over time and need replacing.

Why won`t my power unit shut off? Make sure the unit is in the Auto mode and that there is not a hose plugged into a wall valve. Unplug the low volt wire at the side of the unit, if the unit continues to run, the relay in the pc board is faulty and the entire pc board needs to be replaced.

Stick Vacuum Not Running
First make sure you have charged your device. If the vacuum still will not turn on after that, try to unplug the vacuum charger from the outlet. Leave the charger unplugged for at least 1-2 minutes. Next, turn on the stick vacuum and let run until the battery completely drains.
A: No reset button. You must wait for the motor to cool down and reset itself. You should also clean the filter or it will overheat again.

Check the power unit reset button located above the power cord. Pressing the button should restore operation. The suction power is to be measured at the end of the tube of a complete vacuum cleaner (i.e. with tube, hose and filters – but without nozzle). Some manufacturers show the results from measurements made at the suction of the actual vacuum cleaner.
