If Roomba® continues to indicate the bin is full after you have emptied the bin, it means you have not thoroughly cleaned the bin full sensors and/or the sensor ports. After you have cleaned all six full bin sensors and ports, it may be necessary to clear the error by rebooting the robot.
Remove the Bin from the Roomba and set it aside. Look inside the robot where the Dust Bin was, and locate 2 black rectangular sensors on either side of the robot.
Ensure proper maintenance on the rubber brushes, and filter is also being performed. If the brushes are not spinning properly, this could cause Roomba® to fail to pick up debris off the floor.
If the red full bin indicator is illuminated or blinking, it means Roomba® senses that the bin is full. Please empty the bin, and clean the full bin sensors and sensor ports thoroughly.
Once they have enough battery power, they will continue cleaning. When it finishes its cleaning session: The robot vacuum knows when it is done cleaning your house because it has a mapping algorithm that knows the size of your house, the size of the area swept, the cleaning speed, the collisions and turns it makes.
The filter for the iRobot Roomba i7 is located in the removable debris bin towards the rear of the device. The filter prevents dust and debris from escaping the debris bin.
Most owners believe that running their robot vacuums four times per week is sufficient to keep the floors dust-free. However, if you have children or pets, you should use your robot vacuum more frequently. Daily vacuuming is recommended if you suffer from seasonal allergies.
Most robot vacuum makers say you should empty their robots` dustbins after each cleaning session. Both iRobot and Neato suggest this for their Roomba and Botvac models. iRobot even tells you to rinse robot bins with warm water, then to let it air dry.
If the Side Brush is not spinning after cleaning, you may need a replacement Side Brush Module. Please visit the iRobot Store – Parts and Accessories, contact iRobot Customer Care, or use an authorized retailer or partner.
Spiral mode is best for cleaning in concentrated areas. Wall mode is best for cleaning along walls and edges. Single room mode is good for cleaning just one room. It`s recommended to close doors to that room, so the robot is contained.
In the iRobot app, click on the map. You`re going to create a couple of what are referred to as Clean Zones: In my home I have the Work Triangle in the kitchen. Tap Zones to add or create a new zone. Choose Add a Clean Zone and you`ll be presented with a square.
Yes it does! It notifies you when the bin is full and needs emptied.
“The beauty of iRobot Genius is that our robots get smarter over time and continuously provide customers with new ways to clean where, when and how they want,” said Keith Hartsfield , chief product officer at iRobot.
Made by iRobot, these robotic vacuum cleaners use sensors to detect walls and items in a room, becoming smarter the more frequently they clean.
Keep your robot plugged in and charging on the Home Base® or Clean Base™ when not in use. If your robot will not be used for more than a few weeks, we recommend placing the robot in ship mode.
Smart bin sensors monitor bin fill levels, enabling the dynamic collection of waste containers at the right time, every time.
Allows you to clean the image sensor. Confirm that the battery has been charged sufficiently.
Blue and Green Dustbins are used to segregate two different kinds of wastes, Green one is for wet waste and blue coloured dustbin is for dry waste. In municipalities, Blue coloured bins are used for collecting materials that are recyclable.
Smart Dustbin is just a normal bin where everyone can dispose waste but integration of some hardware components is done for more efficient use of it. Smart Dustbin is integrated with some hardware components such as Arduino, NODEMCU, Servo Motor, Ultrasonic sensors.
Aeris by iRobot air purifiers use proven mechanical filtration technology, designed with dense, high efficiency particulate air HEPA filters to effectively remove stubborn airborne particles. Our sealed casing also traps dirty particles for a cleaner distribution of air.
The Roomba® 600 series Bin and Filters are not designed to be washed or come in contact with liquid. Press the bin release tab and pull to remove the Bin. Open the bin door to empty the Bin. Pull the Filter to remove.
Roomba® robot vacuums are highly efficient, only drawing power when they`re charging in docks and to ensure uninterrupted connectivity with home WiFi systems. In fact, even if left plugged in all day, Roomba® consumes less energy than the typical upright vacuum cleaner.

Roomba keeps saying clean brushes yet are clean!
ANSWER : Make sure you take off the little cap at the end (the one that spins — just grab it and pull it straight off) and clean under it too. The rest of the brush may look perfectly clean but what happens is that hair gets stuck under spinning cap and, like a slowly growing washer, it pushes the whole brush toward the gear box. When it gets pushed over enough, the large yellow ring starts to rub against the side of the brush deck making it harder for the motor to turn the brush and you get that “remove and clean brushes” message.

My Irobot Roomba keeps saying that I need to clean Roombas brushes. I have cleaned the brushes…they are spotless. Still the Roomba will go for 2 minutes and shut itself off stating once again to clean the brushes. What up?
ANSWER : Perform the troubleshooting found at the iRobot website: http://tinyurl.com/nh5c8a (I promise that really does go to the right site.) That troubleshooting will enable you to determine exactly what’s causing this problem. (The Easy Way: Run the Roomba minus the dustbin and look in the back. Is the brush turning? If not, there’s the problem. Give support a call at 1-877-855-8593 and they’ll let you know how to replace the necessary part.)

Roomba Discovery My Roomba Discovery seems to work fine, mechanically, but it no longer seems to collect any dust. (The collection bin remains empty after the Roomba has circulated around the floor for quite a while). The brush has been replaced and spins normally. Does anyone have an idea why this machine’s vacuum function no longer seems to work? I would appreciate any feedback. Jeremy

ANSWER : Ok, this is a “Brush Height Adjustment” issue. It will probably work great on a hard surface but on carpet the brushes bog. If you’ve taken the unit apart already…Sorry….do it again. When you do, you’ll see a String which allows the brushes to “Float” on different surface heights. Loosen the screw a little and pull a bit more string through. Re Tighten the screw and put it together enough for a test run. Now reset the roomba. To reset the Roomba, power the Roomba on, and press the Spot, and Dock.buttons together for at least 8 seconds. Until it plays a tune. The.clock, and any schedule is erased at this time. Try running the Roomba.with the dust bin removed to see the brushes spin easier..
.
Second method, is taking off the bottom cover, and removing the.battery. While it’s removed, and not plugged into the charger, press.the clean button for at least 20 seconds. This will erase the memory..Replace battery, and cover. Run the Roomba to see if the brushes start.to spin. You can also remove the brush housing by removing the 4 screws.and reseating it, to see if it was a bad connection, since you have the.bottom cover off.
