Sebo Air belt K3 Bagged Canister Vacuum
How to Identify and Fix Common Vacuum Problems ?
Our sources include academic articles, blog posts, and personal essays from experienced Vacuum Technicians :
Turn the unit on and feel the suction at the end of the hose handle. If there is no or low suction, then the clog is in the hose. You can remove the clog by running a long, stiff object through the hose, such as a butter knife, starting at the wall end.
All Sebo vacuum cleaners are hand built in Germany using the most durable materials available. This makes them head and shoulders above mass manufactured vacuums pumped out of Vietnam and China.
Make sure the battery is fully charged, with the vacuum turned off while charging. After many cycles of use or after intense wear, the battery may lose charge over time or wont function at all. Contact Black and Decker for warranty coverage or replace the battery(!!!
If the vacuum is still hard to push, tilt it back far enough that you can inspect the moving brush while the vacuum is running. Be careful to avoid getting too close to the moving parts. If you see that the brush is not turning, that means you will need to replace the brush belt.

.Hi, I have replaced the electric cord on Electrolux Lux Royal vacuum, but the rewind that retracts the cord does not pull it in. The coil spring looks ok but it will not pull the cord back in, any suggestions please.
Thanks Dave Ryder

.Hello,
.I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure.
.The question I have is it the Electrolux or the Royal cordwinder, if the cordwinder is sprung you may have to get a new one or a good used one, it’s been a while since I have done a cordwinder and I have seen it done, but I know when you remove the cordwinder you need to lock in the spring so that it does not loose it tension and re-coil ability. You may want to ask your local vac dealer to see if you need to repair or replace. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Yes, pulling hard is not a good idea. You need to use techniques to get it out.
Get a flat Phillips screw driver, use it to bring it out. Or use a screw drive to disassemble the part that that went inside the machine. If that’s not an easy task, then you might disassemble the whole unit so that it can be renove easily.
But you still need to apply some force to bring out the stuck power cord, don’t apply too much force, but some force is needs.
You can send me the picture of the stuck part, so that I can see what I am dealing with if the above is not helpful.
Good luck.
