Move the dock to a new location and see if the robot can locate it. The dock should be placed against a wall, have at least 0.5m of clearance either side and 1.5m in front. Then, clean the front signal transmission area of the dock and the robot`s front sensor, both of which are used for the robot to locate the dock.

If your dock is equipped with dock mode it will have a switch on the back and will also have an audio out option. Here are the instructions for dock mode and audio out. To place your phone into dock mode turn the switch on the back towards the speaker, this will automatically cause the Samsung clock widget will pop up.
Why can`t my robot find the dock? Make sure your dock is placed in a location free of any obstructions and has the appropriate amount of clearance (3 ft on each side and 5 ft in front of base). For best results place the dock on bare floor surfaces with strong Wi-Fi signal.
Check that the robot vacuum and charging dock are clean and undamaged: Wipe the charging dock and connection points clean with a dry cloth. Inspect the charging dock and cable for any signs of damage. Check that the power LED is illuminated when the charging dock is plugged in.
How do I tell my Roomba to go to its Home Base? Press the dock button on your Roomba. Look for the “Home” button along the top of your device—this is a small, circular button to the left of the larger “Clean” button. Press this button once to send your Roomba back to its Home Base.
I have a Eureka 5902AVZ and the brushroll does not work. when i remove the belt, which is not torn nor worn out, the motor spins perfectly fine. Though when i put the brushroll back into place, it shows that the motor is trying to spin, but with resistance. it seems the brushroll will not spin if locked into place, because there is no attachment on the left side of the brushroll that will allow it to spin freely with the belt. am I missing some parts or is there something else wrong?

.You have correctly identified the problem as the brush roll itself.

.There is a bearing under each end cap of the brush roll. You can gain access to the bearings usually by gripping the browah roll end caps and rotate the caps in opposing but loosening (ccw rt / cw left) directions.

.Many times I have found that there is just a mass of hair under the end cap that functions like a brake. Clean it up really well on under BOTH end caps.

.Do a spin test by putting the end caps back on (Hold it horizontal) and rotating the brush roll with your thumbs. It should spin freely.

.If it feels like there is still friction then your probably going to have to take the brush roll with you down to the nearest vacuum cleaner repair / supply shop and get 2 new bearings. Most shops will install the NEW bearings for you if you have the brush roll in hand. It is a much cheaper fix than the brush roll itself.
