Very poor suction

Sounds funny/shutting off after few minutes
\015 I have a Bissell LiftOff Revolution Pet Vac that is about 2 years old. All of a sudden it only works in the floor mode (won’t turn on in wand mode) It also sounds funny, if I do get it turned on, it usually only lasts a minute or two before shutting itself off.
