Check to see if there is water in the water tank. If there isn`t, unscrew the water tank cap and use the filling flask to pour distilled water into the tank until it reaches the fill line. Replace the water tank cap and tighten. Power the device on, wait about 30 seconds for the water to heat up, and then try again.
Heating Element. A common cause to your cleaner not producing steam can be a failed heating element. As the heater is used to heat up the water, if that has ruptured or burnt out your steam cleaner will not produce any steam. With the water tank filled and switched on the steamer should sound like a boiling kettle.
The spray tip may be clogged. Use a paperclip and insert it into the spray tip to remove a clog. Now plug back in, making sure you are using a working outlet. You will know, as the Ready light will begin to blink when plugged in.
To prolong the life of your steam mop, we recommend using distilled water in the tank. Make sure you only add water to the tank – chemicals or cleaning solutions (including vinegar) may damage the steam mop and could be unsafe. For best results, sweep or vacuum your floors prior to cleaning with your steam mop.
Check if the mop is properly plugged into the outlet and turned on. If it is on and still not functioning, try resetting the mop by plugging it into a different outlet. Add water to the tank if it is empty then try selecting the `STEAM` setting once more.
If you`re using a rag mop, follow a figure-8 motion as you push the cleaning tool. This is the most effective way to use the mop`s design. If you`re using a sponge mop, a straight forward and backward motion is good enough.
Recycled Towel Mop Head. Fold old used towel in half lengthwise, make a straight stitch about three inches from the top of the fold. Feed a shoestring through the casing, cut bottom into strips then tie around an old mop head. Use, remove and throw in the washer!!
Steam mops use hot water to loosen and remove dirt, grime, and other buildup from your floors.
The Steam Release Handle is Not Properly Seated

If you take the Instant Pot steam release valve or steam release handle out while cleaning the Instant Pot lid, it may not be put back correctly. It needs to be pushed in all the way. If it isn`t securely seated, steam will leak from the steam release handle or valve.

Mix your purchased descaler or mix 1 1/2 oz. of baking soda with one quart of clean water. Fill the empty tank with this mix. Seal the unit and turn the steam cleaner on so that it begins heating.
Do Steam Cleaners Use Soap or Chemicals? These appliances use only clean, cold, tap water. No chemical or detergents can, or should, be used in these systems.
Only Use Water in the Reservoir

With the exception of a few models that have dual functions, steam mops are typically designed to be used with water and nothing else. The steam alone does a great job of cleaning the floor. Always read the manual on your mop model thoroughly for complete use guidelines.

A: No,because the water is heated up till it becomes Steam!,So You cannot use any type of Cleaners,it must only be water! A: We can assist you with your request. Our Steam Mops are designed for use on all sealed hard-floor surfaces.

All steam systems are open to the atmosphere. Whenever you mix water with iron and steel you`re going to get rust, and that rust is going to wash down into the returns. Eventually, those returns will clog, and the condensate will rise into the steam mains.
How do I know if my steam radiator is clogged? A clogged steam radiator might make gurgling noises. A hissing sound or a radiator that spits or leaks water also can be a sign that debris or mineral deposits are clogging the system.
All of the filters that come with your Shark vacuum, including HEPA filters on models that include them, can be cleaned or washed for re-use.”
Wash your filters

We recommend you clean your Shark vacuum`s filters every month – but always remember to let them air dry thoroughly before replacing them.

The Shark Floor Steamer, also known as the Euro-Pro Shark Steam Mop, is a device for cleaning tile, wood and other hard surface floors that uses heat to lift off stains. It can also be used on carpet with an extra attachment.
Steam mops work by heating water in a reservoir or tank to about 250 degrees Fahrenheit. The hot steam travels to a microfiber pad through one or many jets that dampen the pad. The combination of steam and damp pad help moisten and break up dirt and dust from flooring.
The Nozzle is not Fully Attached

The nozzle needs to be completely attached so that the power can reach the brush. When the vacuum head is on the floor, push down on the handle to make sure the connection is complete. If this does not work, something may be blocking the connection. Clear out any debris and try again.

With proper maintenance and cleaning, mop heads can last between 15 – 30 washes. In domestic environments, mop heads will need to be changed less regularly still. However, it`s still recommended that you clean your mop heads after every use to ensure bacteria doesn`t multiply.
Wash. If your mop head is removable, throw the head into the dishwasher or washing machine. If not, add dish detergent into a bucket and lather the mop head in soapy water before rinsing. This will remove stains and other debris that didn`t come off in the running water.
Depending on the manufacturer, some reusable microfiber mop heads can last through 500 washings when properly laundered and maintained. Reusable microfiber mops have increased strength and durability to be used on uneven surfaces like grouted floors or non-slip floors versus disposable microfiber mops.
