All Karcher domestic pressure washers are designed to run from a suitable cold water supply although some models will accept a water inlet temperature of between 40 °C and 60 °C.
If the machine is pulsing when on standby, is the garden hose supplying the pressure washer fully uncoiled? If the machine is pulsing whilst in use, it may be that the accessory you are using has a blockage. Clear by soaking the accessory in warm soapy water and then rinsing out under the tap.
You may need to rebuild or replace the pump. If the pump is more than a few years old, and you use the pressure washer fairly often, replace the pump. If the pump is relatively new, and you don`t use the pressure washer often, either rebuild the pump or replace the pump seals.
The heart of every pressure washer is its electric motor, which drives the pump system [1]. In order for the pumps to work correctly, they need water, which is provided, for example, by a garden hose [2].
Portable power washers are designed to be portable, which means that they have their own onboard water tank. When you use a pressure washer with an included tank, you don`t need to connect to an outdoor tap, because your liquid access is already there. You can leave the garden hose out of the equation.
The main reason which may cause the pressure washer to leak from the inside is if the cylinder head – either cracked or failed. This is often caused by the pressure washer being stored in an area that can freeze during winter.
The electronic pressure switch automatically switches the pump on and off again on the pressure side as required. If there is no water running through the pump on the suction side, e.g. if the water tank is empty, the dry-run protection protects the pump against damage and automatically switches it off.
Often times, a machine producing low pressure will surge, cycle on and off, or continue to run. This typically indicates that the machine is losing pressure somewhere, such as a leak in one of the lines or inside the case of the machine.
Connect to an indoor tap – provided you have a long enough hose pipe. You will also need to ensure you have the correct adaptor which allows you to connect to an outdoor garden hose, without water leaking all over your home!
Pressure Washer`s are commonly connected to a running tap via a hose; however they can also draw water from sources such as a rain water tanks & garden bucket with the same performance. So this means you don`t have to miss out on using your Kärcher summer!

My Discovery 4210 Roomba will run normally for about 20 minutes on a smooth, wooden floor. It then begins the following sequence: run forward a few inches, turn in a tight counter-clockwise circle a few revolutions, stop, power off a few seconds, power up, repeat cycle from forward run. The sequence can be repeated seemingly endlessly if I don’t turn off the power manually. I’ve replaced the motor, and led revolution sensor system on the left drive wheel. I’ve blown the dust out of everywhere. A
Hi my proheat bissell 7901 stopped pumping water to the floor, but it pumps water from the hand hose. I read the manual and followed how to check belt and the flat belt on right side of shampooer is fine and I turned on and it turns and so do the brushes at the bottom of the machine. I was reading online and I guess there’s two belts on this machine? where can I find the other belt to see if it needs replacing. I guess it’s a ribbed belt? that is the water pump belt?
ANSWER : Just taken ours apart with the same problem… found it was caused by the 2 halves of the main casing coming apart in the area where the upright pedal release is. I found this to be due to the upper casing having broken in 2 places – the bottom of the screw wells..This means that the water tank cannot exert sufficient pressure on the valve to release the water..Only solution is a new top cover assembly

ANSWER : This is from the prongs not making a good connection causing an arch inside the plugg causing what looks like rust on the plugg. I would try snugging up the connection by squeezing the female section to get a better connection on the prongs when it is plugged in together.

My sunbeam water cooler model #YLR2-5-67H3 has been sitting unplugged for 3 years. I moved, plugged it in and put a water bottle on top and water went all over the floor. I unplugged it, (read the instructions on the front, duh) and it still leaks on the floor. What should I do?
I put it over the sink, emptied it, checked the drain plug, tried running a glass full of tap water through each tap. Only the room temperature one would work.
ANSWER : One of the rubber connecting hoses inside it has dried and aged so the pressure of the water from the bottle made it burst....
You will need to open it, find the defective hose and replace it – a 2 hour relatively easy job. The hardest part will be in taking the casing apart – lots of hidden screws.
